I’ve been addicted to New Vegas for a while now. Bad stuff. And by bad I mean the game totally rules.
Did you like it from the get go?
I think I only got a little way into it before going “welp…this isn’t that interesting…”.
Can’t tell what it was that I didn’t like. Admittedly I got a little overwhelmed by trying to take in everything at first and felt like I had no idea what I was doing.
New Vegas actually have a few moments in the early game(if you follow the main quest) where you come upon a few conversations where you get confused if you doesn’t have any prior knowledge of the game world.
I can’t say that I’ve been as engulfed in the FO game world as I get in the TES games. I’m currently trying to play through New Vegas again and finish all the DLC’s this time. Last time I got bored halfway through old world blues.
So this time I’ve steered away from my usual way of modding to try to keep things interesting. Using Project Nevada, FOOK and AWOP and a lot of small mods.
I usually try to keep as close to the original as possible when modding, not adding new areas, gameplay mechanics or lore unfriendly mods, but it feels as if it’s what I need to stay interested.
Just compare my almost 1000 hours in skyrim and only 166 hours in FO3 and 145 hours in FO:NV. New Vegas is probably at 250-300 hours actually, some have disappeared by starting it through NVSE. Also, I played through it 1½ time on a pirated copy years before I bought it on steam.
Likewise. I keep seeing it everywhere and all I can discern is that it’s about a detective with a lot of bullet holes in him.
Let me know if you figure out what it’s about!
Ground Zeroes and Watch_Dogs.
Actually, it took me a while to really get into it. After you gain a few levels and start to know what you’re doing, it gets better. Admittedly, TES games feel more immersive in general. But I’m still pretty new to the Fallout games, so I’m having a good time.
Euro Truck Simulator 2
Took me a while to find in which setting menu steering sensitivity was in, had a hard time keeping my truck going in a straight line before that. I managed to tip over on the freeway halfway from Kiel to Hannover when delivering 21t christmas presents. My first job made my company go -€12 600 for renouncing the delivery and for the repairing costs for the truck.
Ground Zeroes.
God damn.
A couple days ago, I bought Assassin’s Creed 1 & 2. A week before that, I bought Wind Waker HD along with an HDMI DVI adapter so that I could play Wii U games through one of my Dell monitors.
Halo: MCC and Forza Horizon 2
The Walking Dead: Season 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (yeeee) and The Wolf Among Us on sale for a grand total of about $110. Actually, you could just reword that entire sentence as “Christmas sales fuck yeah”.
Death to Spies: Gold Edition
World at war
Death to Spies are really great games.
Bought Garry’s Mod on Steam for 1,99$!
Thank you Steam!
Lords of the Fallen + Monk Decipher DLC
