I’am playing Resident Evil 4 HD right now…(waited till it’s properly patched) and apart from the treasure bug(the star still showing the location of the treasure even though I have found it)I am really enjoying it.Picking which weapons to buy and how much to upgrade them is really interesting(especially since you can sell them as well).
You mean the star in that room with the statues that hang down from the ceiling?
That one(the treasure was a hand grenade)and there is also one in the lake(if I m not mistaken).
The El Lago lake? Didn’t seem to bug out on that one for me.
Anyway, glad the other one is a bug then. I only noticed it after I rescued Ashley from that trap and at that point you can’t trackback to that room with the treasure.
To be quite honest I’m not sure about the lake one cause maybe I missed it but I just don’t know how,and the one in the castle might not be a bug after all since there is a treasure chest right above the one where I found the grenade in and it’s on the second floor …I can see it but need to find the actual way to reach it.
Edit:Nope, the one in the castle is not a bug I needed to use the chandeliers to jump to the other side and it was yet another elegant mask.
The one in the lake is inside the merchant “cave”. You have to move a few boxes and find a way to get on top of his store…
Also, damn, so it was indeed a missed treasure then. Oh well, I guess I’ll leave it for the professional difficulty run.
The same goes for me since the lake is locked.
just finished arkham origins. kinda lame really wasnt expecting it to end so soon and the final boss was lame. was having fun until then tho i guess
Finished Crysis Warhead. About to see if Metro LL’s performance increased on my PC with Nvidia’s new drivers.
Edit: Metro LL seems to run worse
.
mario football. turns out its still rad as hell
Decided to go another round of Bioshock Infinite, this time on 1999 mode.
And, uh, Jesus Christ, 2 run-throughs on Medium did not prepare me for the [COLOR=’#191919’]ghost of Lady Comstock fight as I was stuck on that for about 2 hours. No ammo, very little drops and supplies, ugh. I was beginning to think I would just run out of money and gameover before actually beating it.
Oh god, those fights were horrible. The trick is that she gains health when she raises bodies, so you have to use powers or gear with disintegration effects (either fire or lightinging) to disintegrate them, so she can’t raise them.
Yeah, that’s probably the hardest part on 1999 mode. I had a lot better luck with the final fight.
Played Miasmata for a few minutes. I really don’t like the movement system in the game. And your hands are always in front of you (though generally not in your fov if you’re looking straight ahead). Still seems pretty cool though. Don’t really know what to do. Just going around collecting and studying flowers.
More Pokemon X. When I started playing this game, I got Froakie, my first starter Pokemon. At a certain point in the game, you will be able to get a second starter Pokemon. The 2nd group of starter Pokemon is the first 3 you would get to choose in the first Pokemon game. I already chose one and I’m heading towards the 2nd gym leader.
Wait wait wait wait.
Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander? THOSE three are your second choice?
Still, Pikachu wins it all.
Just beat RE4. The final boss is much easier to handle if you just try to move around as much as you can.
Now I’m taking a break before I tackle the unlocked assignments and Professional run.
Is RE4 better on PC? Or equally as good anyways?
The kb/m controls leave a bit to be desired IMO, but that’s really the only downside to the PC version. Upsides being the inclusion of the PS2 additions as well as the graphics enhancement. So, yeah.
It’s the superior version in terms of graphics and framerate. Control is subjective and it’s really up to each person if they like KBM or gamepad control better. Would be awesome if they added support for wiimote, as that is considered the definitive control scheme.
How so? I find them to be intuitive and precise, and as of the latest beta patch you can pretty much rebind everything, specially if you’re having trouble with the QTE keys.
I mean, the only way to make it truly perfect for KBM controls would be to change the gameplay mechanics up to a point where it would not play like RE4 anymore and we wouldn’t want that, would we?
