I gave up on the BF4 campaign at the tank segment. It felt like they’d poorly balanced the MP stank mechanics to work in SP, and I died repeatedly trying to take on two AI tanks at once.
Trackmania Nations Forever.
I wish single player games these days would look to Half Life as an example on how it should be done. That was revolutionary storytelling.
Borderlands 2. I ran into a glitch where all my guns stopped using ammo, or at least one less per shot than they should. It stopped working halfway through Bandit Slaughter Round Three, but it was fun while it lasted.
Beat Alien Isolation. A few complaints here and there, but all around one hell of a game.
“F.E.A.R. - First Encounter Assault Recon” - I was wrong, so wrong to call the game bleak. The game is plain awesome!
A bit of Jet Set Radio, and a few minutes of SA1 - the rest of the hour spent fixing things, installing mods, and figuring how to get the FFFFUCKING PURPLE BORDER OFF GODDAMNIT SEGA
Played some Smash Bros Brawl with friends. Man I can’t wait for Wii U Smash, 8 player matches are gonna be awesome!
About half an hour ago finished the single-player campaign of “Battlefield 4”, it was great, except for [COLOR=‘Black’]one of the main characters dying, when it was avoidable.
Beat the story mode of F-Zero GX today. Feels good man.
I played mc, cod4, CSS, and black mesa source
I got like, 3 levels into SMB and went “I’m done”.
Which is weird because I 100%'d the original meatboy+map pack a few years back.
Isaac Rebirth, obviously enough. I haven’t run into much of the new content, but it’s fun and I like it, so I guess I’ll waste another 80 hours 100%ing it. Probably more.
League and Dawngate. Everything in Dawngate is unlocked for everyone because it’s closing down in 90 days.
Damn shame, I really liked parts of it.
Isaac Rebirth.
This soundtrack is fuckawful. Like, wow is it bad.
Also, I just beat mom on my first playthrough. Maybe that’s because Rebirth lets you play with a controller, which is immediately more natural than the keyboard, but still… first try?
At one point, I entered a treasure room and suddenly like eight different things happened. I was being followed by a little black grub, I had horns, I was trailing blue slime, I was being followed by a little black fetus that would eat hearts and spit up soul hearts, one of my eyes popped out and flew around the room killing things for the rest of the game, every once and a while I would become invincible and flashing (like the My Little Unicorn from the original game), my tears turned neon green and sometimes shot out the back of my head… what even just happened in that room.
I am kinda in the mood of trying some RTS classics, so now I started playing Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. I like it so far, though I don’t have much time to play it atm. I might play Red Alert 3 after this, but after all I read I think I am going to skip C&C 4.
Have been playing both yesterday, and today the “Black Mesa”. 10 out of 10, my god, 10 out of 10! Really good.
Rising Revengeance. Got to Armstrong (barely).
Oh boy, that’s a fun boss fight, son.
Oh my GOD, I hated that boss fight. So much. It took me forever to figure out how to take him down.
