What Game Did You Play Today?

More Meat Boy

I was trying to unlock “The Kid” from “I want to be the Guy”… I’ve failed. That video pretty much shows how effective I’ve been.

If anyone needs me, I’ll be restoring feeling in my arms.

yes, I bought super meat boy today and I really dread the thought of getting to that stage.

game is superb, except for the occasional falling-through-the-floor glitch that’s REALLY annoying.

Just played a bit of The Witcher I bought in the holiday sale on Steam.

Gotta say it’s pretty good so far, though some animations are a bit wonky.

Yesterday I played some Monday Night Combat, Modern Warfare 2 (:fffuuu  , and some Final Fantasy.

I’m about to start up Half-Life 2. At work. Because nobody gives a fuck today.

Played “the Polynomial” last night. I regret it entirely. the game is made to be played for minutes at a time. I think I spent 15 minutes playing it and damn that game is good looking but Dammit, it causes eyestrain REAL quick.

An hour of “Super Meat Boy”. Attempting to get the kid again… for that entire hour. Beat the first level in about 5-10 minutes and spent the rest of the time on a single level.

Must… not… be… beaten… by… game… twitch

Some TF2. Played with a friend. Dominated him thrice. Good times.

L4D2. Home for the holidays and there is n o t h i n g to do at my house.

Played BF:BC2. I use the term “play” here loosely, because it runs and looks like crap on my computer. D:

Lugaru HD, an interesting game. The controls are somewhat unresponsive but the fact that it’s a game about martial artist rabbits kind of makes up for it.

Also did 2 missions in Hitman: Blood Money.

Ah, Lugaru HD. It’s definitely an interesting game, but the occasional crashing and somewhat iffy controls have prevented me from really getting into it.

More Super Meat Boy, Braid, League of Legends… that might be it.

Played some GTAIV, TF2, and Hitman. GTAIV uses a lot of CPU power, I think I had it set too high for my system, since it got as high as 90 degrees :fffuuu: .

Alan Wake, interesting game, i was upset when it went 360 exclusive, but a friend got it for me for x-mas, so far i’m enjoying it.

Yeah, GTAIV is famously unoptimized.

Maybe they’ll do a bit of a better job with the engine when they bring Red Dead Redemption to the PC.
(though I doubt they’ll patch GTA IV to run better)

I beat Marvel Ultimate Alliance on Hard finally, after owning the game for over 3 years. I also put some time into Splosion Man and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.

I just finished playing Braid… the ending kind of blew my mind :fffuuu:

Well, it couldv’e really blown your mind if you got the alternate ending (which I don’t think you got), which is required to make sense out of the story. Unless you google it.

I just watched the alternate ending on YouTube, and it didn’t blow my mind. >_>

When I beat it a while back, I understood that Tim was a bit crazy, and a stalker, and etc.

According to some people with too much time on their hands, the whole game could be about a nuclear bomb…google it

Battlefield 2. I really have enjoyed it so far, mostly because my P.O.S. machine can actually run it. -_-
