New Vegas for a few hours, and then CSS and BC2 briefly.
TF2, BC2, MW2.
A whole bunch of sequels…
I’m trying to branch out =P
Got to play Medal of Honor @ my neighbour while he watched it on his tv. Managed to complete the whole story mode on hard for the first time.
Pretty fun imho. Almost managed to make me buy the game and play online.
Alot of Devil May Cry 4. I forgot how fun this game is
And it’s the least mangled of Capcoms games on PC, they really do suck at porting… It’s beautiful to look at
Flatout 2…
I beat Fable 3 yesterday. It feels like there is less content overall than Fable 2, and the ending was (IMO) even more disappointing. There actually was a final boss, but it dies easily in less than a minute. And Reaver doesn’t steal my kill. Though he did end up filthy rich, since I went 100% good.
The game is more streamlined than Fable 2, and the gameplay is similar but significantly better. I was disappointed about the lack of lulz coming from Jasper. (John Cleese’s character)
Minecraft.
Got a pool, library, personal room with chimney and portal room in my castle.
Started to play and record Zelda: Majora’s Mask, 100%!
The most boring part of it is editing all the stuff…
I’m trying to find the 7 orb pieces in Amnesia to go into the Inner Sanctum. Agrippa’s mangled body freaks me out and more so because he’s talking to me through his mind :fffuuu: .
How do you update Minecraft, btw? Just download a whole new .exe?
It auto-updates.
Really? I didn’t notice anything the last time I started it up. A couple days ago.
Well, the update only came out today.
That’s what I was thinking after I typed that out. I thought I’ve seen people talking about the update for a few days, a week maybe. Glad to know that I’m just insane, though.
I was planning on playing FreeSpace 2 after purchasing it from GOG.com today, but the download didn’t finish until 10 minutes before I had to leave and then it didn’t run… sigh
Otherwise, just some more LoL.
Are you using the FS2Open engine? It should run fine on Windows 7 with it.
Be sure to get the MediaVP if you haven’t downloaded the FS2Open engine.
Thanks for the help, but I already figured it out. As soon as it didn’t run, I headed on over to https://www.widescreengamingforum.com/, where it suggested I download that. I let that download all day while I was gone, came back, set up all the pretty graphics options, and have been enjoying the glory that is Freespace.
Such great explosion effects… Can’t believe I’ve waited all these years to buy the sequel to one of my favorite games. >_<
F.E.A.R. - Perseus Mandate. Contrary to many reviews I’ve seen, it’s not bad.
Of course, it’s the only part of the F.E.A.R. Ultimate Shooter Edition that runs on my frakking computer. Apparently the original game doesn’t support my laptop’s chipset (GeForce 9700M GTS), or any laptop card at all. Which sucks, because I love the original game and would happily set about trying to make maps for it if it wasn’t throwing the framerate down the shitter every two minutes.
Got it yesterday, and the only things that aren’t disappointing are to do with the Sanctuary.
Impressively, the dog is even harder to care about now.
EDIT: Also, what the fuck, you have to unlock the ability to marry people?! I mean, having to unlock the ability to buy stuff is retarded enough, but marriage? God damn.
I don’t get why they made you unlock so much, but it wasn’t a huge hassle to actually unlock it once they make it available. I think they were all “fuck, what are we going to put on the Road to Rule other than strength, skill, and will???”
I’d have liked to be able to buy out the whole Dweller camp right away if I somehow had the money.
I think the lack of connection comes from no “growing up” with your character. The game starts with your character being the same age as in the end. You don’t save your dog from some douchebag, you don’t lose anything aside from a (probably) awesome bed.
Some of the things they did are suck, but I stand by my statement that the game feels a lot smoother when you play it than Fable 2 did.
