Played MGS3, the best game ever, today.
It was my first Metal Gear game and the game that got me obsessed with this great franchise! It’s my favorite… at least until I play MGS4 that is.
No, it’s not the best game ever. At all. It’s the worst MGS by a long shot.

The natural environments (being forced to find food and cure yourself made you feel like you’re really in the jungle), improved gameplay and camera (in the Subsistence version at least, but I was fine with the original “Snake Eater” camera when I first played it), great story (though I admit MGS1’s story was better), BEAUTIFUL graphics (but MGS4 fucking rapes MGS3 in this department, obviously), and Big Boss is awesome (he has an eye-patch! That’s totally different from Solid Snake! TOTALLY!)
Plus, it gets points in my book just for being the first Metal Gear game I’ve played.
