Naw, 1.6 is exactly like CSS. But IIRC CZ (makes long time I havn’t played it, I had it my never-knew-why banned account from 2004) is singleplayer.
Couldn’t you just play a bot match in the original?

They’re not really THE SAME, CSS gayed a lot of the gameplay. They made it more realistic, but it didn’t quite make the game better.
Seriously… headshotting someone and not seeing the awesome backflip animation, and not being able to shoot people through walls is just NOT CS

You can shoot through some walls in CSS though =\
And the hitbox fuckery is the main issue with CSS

You can in 1.6 too. And without cheats. It’s coded for it.
He’s just saying that they didn’t completely fuck up, because SOME walls are still spammable in CSS. But, they have to be made of specific materials and be really really thin, so, it’s still too gay to me.
To stay on topic: I played some L4D today for the first time! Just bought it last weekend but only had the time to play today. It’s pretty fun, although I hope it’s better online than Single Player. Also some TF2 for teh lulz.

CS 1.6 is the original mod that went retail.
CZ has 2 programs that come with it, Condition Zero, and CZ: Deleted Scenes.
CZ is basically a cycle of the maps where you have to complete certain challenges, such as “Kill 3 people with a sniper rifle.”, and others like that.
CZ: Deleted Scenes is the part that has all of the “story” missions where you play linear missions that were made by Turtle Rock Studios, and were eventually scrapped.
I’m pretty sure that CZ also looks a bit better.
