What Game Did You Play Today?

I finally got Oblivion in the Steam sale with all the DLC for $26. I played for half an hour and spent the other two-and-a-half downloading all the mods (I have around 50 running with many more coming)

Played some Mirrors Edge on my PS3. I’m on chapter 8. Then played (read: sucked at) Metal Gear Online.

Full crit TF2. 'Twas fun.

I love the Inebriation mod.
“You have passed out” Hahahaha.

It’s Christmas today, and yes, I now have Metal Gear Solid 4!

FINALLY! (which is what I said when I opened the wrapping paper, after the game was done installing, and when the first cutscene ended. Yep, this is the Metal Gear Solid I love!)

Well done, boy, I beat that in 2007 year.:jizz:

Does Kojima just looooove to make me wait or what? I’m trying to install MGO and it’s taking FOREVER! It’s been almost a hour (hell, maybe even an hour and a half!)!
The least they could do is have Snake smoke like when installing a chapter and offer some useful “no shit” tips on life.

Oh well, it’s at 92% now. MGO better be amazing.

Hey, you might get to play up to half an hour today, if you’re quick.

Do you ever give up?

Anyway, I’m mostly trying out Metal Gear Online (where Kojima has no excuse to have any of his overwritten and redundant yet somehow awesome cutscenes.) One I figured out that aiming for the head is a viable method of getting kills, I started loving it! I’m defiantly getting the mappacks.

But I’m going to take a break from MGO to get back to singleplayer (and yes, I do actually get to play. Allot actually, despite what you tell yourself at night so you can stop crying. loljk)

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PC).

Also, I’ve pre-ordered BioShock 2 (PC), £26 is a real bargain

As it is Christmas today and I have nothing to do and I live away from family and friends so no presents. I am going to reinstall Fallout 3 and get myself all of the DLC’s. They all look pretty damn good. That should keep me pretty busy…

No.

I see.

I finally got a 360 today after having a Wii for a year. I got Halo 3: ODST and MW2 for it and I got pretty far with ODST until my little brother started to bitch about his turn. He doesn’t play the 360, he still plays with the Wii.

Glad you’re enjoying MGO JohnKiller. I played Assassin’s Creed II for about 6 hours (:fffuuu  and absolutely love it. It has so much stuff to do and it’s just awesome. I’m currently downloading the Shadow of Chernobyl that I bought during the Steam sale too.

I suck at it though. Well, it depends on the server. If Drebin Points are turned off so I can get the M4 whenever I want, I can rape, but only with some practice.

The singleplayer is great too, but it’s a pain to get used to everything. I should of played on Naked Normal. There really is “No Place to Hide” (but believe me, I try.)
But oh well, I’ll get used to it.
Oh, and how beautiful is that menu theme for the main game?

Also, what’s your PSN ID? We should play!

My PSN is Kairouseki. I have 2 characters, Kairouseki and Simo Häyhä, though I mostly play with Simo. I’ll probably play tomorrow during the 24 hour survival, though I think you can only play Survival if you’ve bought the first expansion pack, which there are 3.

Alliance of Valiant Arms
Team Fortress 2
Counter Strike: Source

Oh, and I love how you can play “The Theme of Tara” from the original Metal Gear for the MSX2 from you in-game iPod. It’s so awesome to hear classic 8-Bit music in an ultra realistic gritty war game!

Oh, and I bought all of the expansions, so… go me!

There are also special characters you can play as if you don’t already know. Though they’re random so you don’t just get to pick them.
