S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
It just hit steam for $30, but there’s a Promo right now that offers it for $20 if you already own one of the first two games.

Actually the rebate is indefinite. So it’s not really a promo.
How is the US version? ive been playing the russian version since november and if theres enough of an improvement (besides dialog) i might get the steam version.
I haven’t played it much, and I won’t be playing anymore tonight until I get off of work, but so far, it seems very well executed. I haven’t played it too much, so there’s not much else I can say about it. It looks very promising though.
Right now I think the steam version 1.6.2, I believe. I’m not completely sure.
aight, thx man. gimme some updates after uve treked the zone for a little while
Can you even speak Russian?
BioShock 2
WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED!?
:fffuuu:
Meh, I’d think a demo for that type of game would sort of ruin it. It just comes out in a few more days though
.
You need a UK account to get the demo.
It’s not so much gameplay that it’ll ruin the experience, but not too little that it doesn’t help with a purchasing decision.
Just finished Lost Odyssey after a year or two of on-and-off playing. Took me over 100 hours to complete - four damn discs for a 360 game is just mental.
All in all, the game was awesome, but the ending sucked so very, very much.
FOUR 360 DISCS!? That’s insane!
Four disk? 100 hours of awesome, but the ending sucked?
Sounds like Final Fantasy. Way to be original, Hironobu Sakaguchi (creator of Final Fantasy.)
Want to know what his next game’s name is? “The Last Story.” Seriously.
You know, I really need to beat VII. I had it for a long time but I never beat it.
Anyway, I played Uncharted 2, Phoenix Wright, and Mass Effect 2, the last of which I mostly spent mining for minerals to upgrade my ship and equipment. It’s an incredibly slow and boring process. Thank god for the mouse. I can just move the mineral scanner around the planet and see if I pick up something.
i gave up looking for minerals almost the first time i discovered that you can scan the planets , now i only look for beacons on the planets that unlock side missions … the mineral extraction is mind-numbingly boring tbh …
Well, if you want to survive the suicide mission, you kind of have to.
well ya , but i only go mining as a last resort cus it’s boring to death …
Theres an upgrade which makes the mining process a lot faster. It helps a lot.
I’m doing a Big Boss Emblem run for MGS4.
If I make so much as one semi-loud footstep, a guard 50 feet away from me will hear it. It’s even worse when I have to beat the ENTIRE GAME is less than 5 hours.
AudioSurf.
Played some MGS3, the forum gave me a craving for it. I just rescued Sokolov. Ocelot is an awesome character B) . Plus, best opening to a video game ever.
I’m going to replay MGS3 a week before Peace Walker comes out to get me in the Cold War mood, though it’s such an awesome game I might play it earlier.
