What Game Did You Play Today?

Finally started playing Metro 2033. Homefront preorder deal FTW, I guess. Even if Homefront sucks, I’ll feel like I only paid 25 bucks for it.

BIT.TRIP BEAT and Dead Space on my iPod.

Awesomeness.

I fear so.

Batman: Arkham Asylum. I’m really pleased that they didn’t try to just remake the movie into a game, and followed (what I assume they did at least) the comics a lot more. Very good play, especially given that it cost $5 or something absurdly little over Christmas.

Magicka

best game ever made

4-man coop is better than sex

Played some Left 4 Dead earlier today.

Crysis 2. Pretty fun, but the areas are too wide for the number of ennemies. There should be many many more.

Duke Nukem 3D

Also, BLOOM AND LENSE FLARE ALL OVER MAH FACE!!! :meh:

Seriously, graphics are all well and good, but fucking hell, turn down the saturation and all the sparkling

Halo PC mod that makes NPCs really irritating to combat, in addition to making the HUD replicate the one in Reach. Hideously broken in some aspects.
It also rips various weapon/npc models from Halo 3. The Assault Rife is replaced with a sawed-off battle rifle looking thing from one of the books.

I need a wired 360 controller. Ported games are usually jagged and uncomfortable on keyboard + mouse (a la AVP3)

link to said mod? :3

Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Golden Sun Dark Dawn.

Why is there an achievement to beat only the last level on Hard in BFBC2? It was arguably the easiest in the whole game, plus, the end of it was awesome. The MP is pretty awesome though.

I dunno about Dark Dawn yet. It’s fun so far, but will it be more awesome than the two GBA games?

Finished Dead Rising 2. The ending to normal mode was pretty cool, but overtime was so dull in comparison to the first one.

229 pages and we are still on topic. My god.
Anyway, Gmod and TF2

Started playing some Age of Empire’s 2. No one to play against, though, and the AI is just plain dumb at times.

Oh man, <3 Age of Empires 2.

I’ve been playing a lot of Battlefront for no particular reason. It’s ruined me for other FPS games because the bullets are projectile. Firing a meter in front of an enemy doesn’t work in hitscan games.

I played the shit out of that game back then. I wish I could build stuff by just hitting the ground with a hammer.

I tried to start an uprising in Point Insertion on HL2, but the citizens were unresponsive and Civil Protection paid no attention to me whacking off their buddies with a crowbar and the .357. > :frowning:

I’m not sure anyone would want to pay attention to you whacking people off, let alone CP.
Just sayin’.

Beacon. It is a lovely, if short game.
