What Game Did You Play Today?

I played about half and hours worth of Katamari Damaci and more Blood Omen.

NFS Carbon, L4D, Gears Of War.

hl2, up to entanglement.

My least favorite chapter in the game. Bleh.

“Sorry Gordon, for taking so long. Oh, are those bullet holes ripped in your flesh that may have possibly been avoided had I been here to help? Well suck it up, you pussy!”

It wasn’t that hard for me, but it was kind of…agitating.

EDIT: Actually, upon further reflection, my avatar sums up my feelings for Entanglement quite nicely.

Gish

Sauerbraten and TF2.
I might play some HL2 in a bit.

Wolfenstein

Research and Development mod. Mr.Whirly is the greatest.

^I’ve heard that it’s way better than expected, as the general consensus prior to release was that it was going to be pure crap. Is it?

Mini-Ninjas demo, in between drawing those damn comics. It has a nice length, compared to the previous two demos I’ve played (Batman AA and Darkest of Days). Plus you get to possess a bear.

Assassin’s Creed.
It arrived.
I bought a gamepad just for it.

hl, hl2, battlefield 2.

It’s rather good, single-player-wise anyhow. I wouldn’t call it a revolution of the FPS experience by any means, though. The veil is pretty cool. Lots of wonderful nostalgia to be had. (“Mein Leben!”)

Multiplayer fails though. Raven definitely shouldn’t have had some other company do their multiplayer portion. If you liked enemy territory, you’ll be sorely disappointed.

Assassins creed with mouse and keyboard isn’t as painful as you’d think it would be. Personally I’d have saved the money on a gamepad and put it into hardware, because that thing is really poorly optimized for lower-mid range systems.

Some people love it on a gamepad, but mouse and keyboard worked fine for me every time.

Yeah, I love that game on PC. I was going to finish playing it one day though and I couldn’t find my disc :’(

Kicking babies, hardcore pro mode, last level.

Please tell me that is a game.

He’d be pretty off-topic if it wasn’t

About to go play some Age of Chivalry!

Gah, this mod was good before it was available through Steam. Now it’s just polluted by noobs.

Penumbra: Overture. This game is infuriating. Thank god I bought it on sale and not at full price.
