Personally what I find frustrating with Penumbra is the controls. They’re a good idea on paper but it doesn’t quite work.
I beat Splinter Cell today!
It’s not as fun as the Metal Gear games, but it’s still a great game!
Though whoever thought gun turrets and TERRIBLE gun fights was a good idea needs to be shot.
An hour of Soul Calibur IV with a friend. Might play some Dark Messiah this evening.
at least you didn’t say Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.
You mean the combat in Overture? Yeah that was shitty, but they actually made it frustrating on purpose to try and discourage people from using it. Thankfully they took out combat altogether in Black Plague and it was a lot better for it…
Edit: I loved the general physics controls though, even opening doors.
Hmmm, I thought I wouldn’t enjoy SimCity Societies much because of the reasons I stated earlier… but I found myself enjoying it a lot. The good improvement on the other games is that there are some actual objectives and rewards. They are varied enough so that whatever you plan to do, you’ll reach one.
The expansion pack adds a ‘Strategy’ gameplay type that adds some challenge as well. It’s still relatively easy, but it’s probably pretty challenging to unlock everything.
Fun stuff.
Just been playing some arma 2. If you have a system that can handle it, its a very detailed and fun game.
Yeah, dumbest name ever. Gameplay is good though.
Nah it’s not that it’s dumb, it’s that DM is everything but apart of the MaM series.
Haha sorry, I wouldn’t know.
Anyway, played some Day of Defeat 1.6 today
Getting to be too repetitive.
Unreal Tournament 3 ----- COMBOOO KIIING pwned inhuman bots with shock rifle only mutator on the Heatray map
the Force unleased(360) just beat the good ending now going for the bad ending
Recently… Diablo II (Gameplay is one of the best I’ve had for years despite it being 10 years old), Crysis, Half-Life ofc (I rigged it to be harder), and Fortress Forever.
More Devil May Cry 4.
hl2, ep1
i Played Battlefield 2 2142 and the new one and 1942
AND CSS
Final Fantasy VII
It has a good story and fun (albeit sometimes frustrating) combat. Plus, I have it on my PSP, so I can level up while taking a dump!
All the fanboys and fangirls still creep me the fuck out though.
Halo 3
Fallout 3 I love flaming supermutants
.
Osmos.
It’s like fl0w, in that you have to absorb things that are smaller than you and avoid things that are bigger than you. Your jet-propulsion-like movement causes your mass to decrease, which is especially problematic in the levels where everything is orbiting around a giant vortex.
It has some nice ambient music too and beautiful graphics.
