What Game Did You Play Today?

Playing some (pirated) Dead Space 2. So far its pretty nice, but not great. I’m really getting tired of the Unitology church, and the low res textures on the buildings are really noticeable. I did get my Ripper again, so I’m happy right now. Love that thing.

Minecraft and Mass Effect 2. ME2 is one of the best games I’ve played in a long time. I can’t wait for the third one.

Interstellar marines. It’s a piece of an incomplete game thats made by a small indie company and it already feels and looks better than any of the CODS. Just hoping it turns out nice in the end.

runs off to look up Interstellar Marines

Why did you have to share, I really didn’t need to buy a new game…

Also, after listening to the description of the Shark Creature in the vault, I do have to ask why on EARTH anyone would think genetically engineering the great white shark with the most ferocious land predators is a good idea.

Do you have to integrate the fact that you hate COD into every post you make? We get it, move on.

I played Minecraft and COD sucks

Well, they themselves have been making the comparison… I just brought it up that I’m actually impressed that their weapons feel better than COD’s… Which is one of the few good things that stayed in the series after 2. They’ve always felt right. IM’s just feel better. And they sound fucking incredible. Rivals Bad Company 2, another best in that regard.

Not a good idea, an AMAZING idea.

More Dead Space 2. I was really getting tired of the church. It just went on way to long. Plus then the next section with the… OH GOD RIPPER I MISSED YOU SO COME TO ME FLOATING BLADE OF DEATH YES!

ditto. Just started DS 2 on survivalist and got to the… Idk what they’re called but they’re basically chargers. Fucking OP dickheads. How the fuck am I supposed to take em all out?

I’m playing on normal, and just use the line gun. Pretty much a one hit kill if you aim properly.

Call of Duty Black Ops.

I made it to level 32.

Star Wars Dark Forces and System Shock 2. I like playing old games!

I thought the Sony Move ads were humorous because they were trying to force down people’s throats that the Move was actually any good.

Course, Adam Sessler visited KB at his “adopted family’s” home, which that skit was relatively lame. But we’ll let it pass because it’s The Sess.

I’ve been playing a bit of this lately:

I figured it was time that I actually play this game. I’ve gotten past the boring first hour, and now we’re getting into the good stuff.

Dead Space 1. It has its moments, but far more moments of frustration, repetition and retardation. I’m up to Chapter 8 and pretty much want to throw it away, but feel I should at least see it through without having to look up the ending on Wikipedia.

I rather liked the original Dead Space. You’re pretty close to the end of the game, just hang in there. But don’t get me started on that zero G basketball thing…

Zero G basketball? You mean the green radiation orbs? Or something even more…pointless.

I hate to gripe about the same game in two different threads, but every second challenge now seems to be “grapple ‘x’, move to ‘y’, fend off ‘z’ enemies”. More puzzle elements plz.

Battlefield: bad company 2
Mirrors edge
Stalker: Call of pripyat

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

I was recently replaying Half-life 2 and episodes . For me it’s never get old.

Garrys mod and Sonic 3 and knuckles.
