What Difficulty Will you play Black Mesa on?

medium\hard, dunno

Medium… It’s what I do all my first playthroughs on so I can enjoy the scenery and story. Then if the game is good enough I’ll go back for a challenge!
(And I already know this will be good, so a second playthrough is guaranteed!)

i will play it on hard : )

Easy. I want to enjoy everything from the scenery to all dialogue. I suck enough at FPSs that easy can be a challenge.

I always play hard, to get the most playtime.

Yeah, I started playing HL1 on hard. Never actually attempted it. It’s not so bad.

first run through easy with god mode on so I can get the lay out done, second run through on hard.

Probably hard. I’m pretty secure in my ability to get by in Source engine games at this point. And besides, we all have been waiting for this for a long time, I may as well get as much as I can from it.

A nice feature from a couple other games was to change difficulty level during play if having too much trouble. That could be nice although unexpected.

Hard… No wait, hard is not good enough. I will mod the… Mod, to make it harder. :freeman:

Why wouldn’t it have it? It’s a source game

Cool. Never fiddled around much with that stuff- I just select difficulty and go. Good to know. Thanks.

Hard mode motherfuckaaaa

Noise shader?..

What, they’re doing screen noise like Left 4 Dead?

I think Ram said that only comes in when the player is close to radioactive waste.

Most likely Medium then Hard.

I might even start on Hard and see how I go.

I played most of games in my life on highest difficulty at first attemp. But damn it it’s Black Mesa and it’s rather more than sure that I’ll play it several times within short period of time, so I’m considering playing on lower than harderst difficulty first time.

Medium or hard, still thinking which one first…

Medium to see scenery.

Medium, to see how the graphics are and the game play. THEN hard >

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
