What Difficulty Will you play Black Mesa on?

I think I’ll do hard. Only because I’ve been waiting so long for this and I figured that will give me the most out of my experience. I usually stick with medium or normal the first time I play a game, but it’ll be really interesting trying hard the first time through.

Easy, because I suck at Half-life even at the lowest level.

Probably medium. Less to worry about when admiring scenery.

Easy if there’s no autoaim, Normal if there is.

autoaim? :expressionless:

will definitely play on hard

Real Half-Life Veterans will start on hard! The impossible mode will come later with xen and jumping platforms you literally cannot reach :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll play on hard because I want my very first playthrough to be as long as possible.

I will play with the 360 controller on easy with autoaim on and cheats enabled.

Easy/Normal(at least on my first playthrough), because I want to admire the game.

Also I suck at Half-Life, but I love it.

Hard. My little bro will probably play it on easy.

Easy, yeah, like the lame chump I am.

Yup. I will play instantly on the hardest difficulty.
Maybe i will regret it… but i think there is nothing to regret with this mod on my hard drive. :3

Hard.

If I could get through Max Payne 3 on Hard (on my first playthrough) without breaking anything, then I can get through BM on Hard.

I play every game ever on medium, and Black Mesa will be no exception.

Raminator gave us menu screen, and there indeed IS and autoaim option

Hard.

Medium. IIRC bunny hopping isn’t available in this game, so it’s going to be substantially more difficult in some situations. I’d rather enjoy the game fully first, and then have a challenge.
(Plus Gordon doesn’t die every 5 minutes in reality does he? He doesn’t die at all!)

You can disable Auto-aim in the options menu,

I’ll be playing in Medium.

First playthrough: medium
Second: hard

I always max the hardnessness in every game I play, even the first time
