What Are Your Specs?

Guess I’ll post mine. They’ll change soon enough, I want to swap out the processor, which means swapping out the mobo and RAM as well.

Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit (lol “work at home” yeah right)
Core 2 6600 2.4 GHz (currently overclocked to 2.85 GHz, could probably go higher, but meh, idc right now)
8 GB DDR2 (4x 2GB )
MSI P6N SLI Platinum
GeForce GTX 470 (debating whether to replace this, keep it, or buy a better card and SLI them together, need to fix heat first if I keep it)
1TB 5200 RPM HDD (I know, I need a faster drive, gonna get one when I get everything else, maybe more than one, but I’ll probably wait to buy extras until HDD prices go back down)

or even better, use those 110 to get a good GPU

Intel i7-950 @ 3.6Ghz
6 GB Corsair Dominator DDR3
Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
2x Galaxy GTX 570 GC
WD Caviar Black 500 GB
Corsair HX1000 PSU
Silverstone Raven RV01

I love the Silverstone case, it’s the best I’ve ever worked with. Really looking forward to an upgrade to 2 or 3 GTX 680s sometime in the future.

An SSD array is long overdo on this machine though… I’ve got one in every other PC in the house, strangely.

I will say I wasn’t expecting to see so many Quadro users in here.

I’ll join in too. Here’s my laptop specs:

Sager NP7280 (Clevo x7200)

Intel Core i7 990x
12GB Triple Channel Memory
Dual Nvidia GTX 485M (SLI)
17" 1920x1080 monitor
A Blue-ray burner and two 750gb Hard disks (7200 RPM)
Not a lot of battery life, and it’s 12 lbs.
Ports: 3 USB 2.0, 2 USB 3.0 (confused yet?), 1 of the following: firewire 800, e-SATA, Ethernet, HDMI out, DVI, and a web camera.
I also have an external floppy drive.
Windows 7 Ultimate

It’s gonna last me a long time.

That is monstrous. Just out of curiousity, what’s the wattage on that power adapter?

Windows 7 Ultimate
Intel Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.5GHz
4GB RAM 15GB VRAM
300GB HDD & 250GB HDD
Intel G33/31 Express Chipset Family
1600 x 900 Dell (60Hz)
4 USB Ports
DVD/ DL Drive

Eat it!! woot!

CPU: C2D E6300 1.86 @ 3.01 (enough for me, but it’s capable to run at ~3.2)
Cooling: Akasa Freedom Tower (4 heatpipes, with fan at 7V)
MB: MSI P6N SLI Platinum
GPU: Sapphire Readeon x1950, tomorrow I’ll get working 9800GTX
PSU: Corsair HX520W
RAM: 4x1GB DDR2 PC-6400 (2x kingston, samsung, reneon)
HDD : 250GB Samsung with badsectors pending… + 500GB network storage
Monitor: Samsung 214T (PVA 21,3 1600x1200) + Nec LCD1770NX (1280x1024 portrait)
Case: Old good ALU(!) from PIII Fuitsu-Siemens Silverline series
Input: Logitech DiNovo keyboard (original model) + VX Revolution + MS Xbox (“1”) pad modified to USB + Medion RF Remote (X10 compatibile)
OS: Windows 7

One of the worst config’s here, but it’s enough for me. Should run Half Life 1 on medium settings :]

gigabyte mini ITX H55 board
i3 - 550
corsair 2x4gb
PowerCooler Radeon 6850
WD Scorpio Black 500GB
in a SUGO SG05
and 27" Samsung monitor

was gonna upgrade the processor later on, but then intel switched up the sockets :fffuuu:

Gaming #2:
CPU - Intel Q6600 @ 3.5GHz
Mobo - MSI P6N SLI Platinum
Ram - 4x2GB DDR2-800 OCZ Platinum

HDD - WD Caviar Blue 500GB
Audio - Diamond Xtreme sound 7.1 DDL
Case - Raidmax Tornado F1 racing mid tower case ( red )
Display - Acer Ferrari F-20

This is the secondary gaming machine for company etc. Just keep it up to date enough so that all modern games can at least be played.

My media centre. Running XBMC. Hardly ever watch regular TV anymore because all my HD movies and TV shows can be contained in the 4TB internal, and 4TB in my NAS…getting a bit close though.

GPU: AMD Radeon 5470

For when going to LAN parties where I play light games. Still plays most modern games though. Will prolly update this one soon.

Currently I’m running:
CPU - i5-750 @ 2.66 (stock)
Mobo - Asus P7P55D-E Pro
RAM - 2 x 2Gb OCZ Obsidian DDR3
GPUs - 2 x Sapphire Radeon HD5770

Case - Coolermaster 690II Advanced
PSU - Coolermaster GX-750
Display - 3 x Asus VH222H 21.5"

Haven’t run into a game that I can’t play on single monitor. A few run okay with Eyefinity even. BF3 runs on ultra settings at 1920x1080 except texture detail: high and anti aliasing deferred: off. BC2 runs on medium settings in triple screen at 5760x1080. (By run, I mean stable at 50+ FPS, no drops)

You have too much money :fffuuu: .

15" MacBook Pro Feb 2011

2,2-GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
500 GB serial ATA, 7200 rpm
Mini DisplayPort-naar-DVI-adapter
Intel HD Graphics 3000
AMD Radeon HD 6770M met 1 GB GDDR5

^ I disassembled a 2007 MacBook Pro today. Lots of tiny screws and some tiny TORX thrown in for good measure.

I forgot my monitor and PSU in my earlier post. Oh well.

Can you have too much?
I have a good education, which led to a well paying job. I also inherited a good amount of money and an extra house.

:fffuuu: I can never understand the use of having 2 houses, unless I’m playing Minecraft where there are never enough houses.

Yes I had. Not as easy to build/upgrade, they’re so tight, I’m presuming either hot and/or loud, and lots of them are boxes. I dunno about you, but my mid atx with a carry handle is like a suitcase, easier to carry than a heavy square box.

Also @JayJay I don’t do laptops. Bad experiences with them.
