Website down, but only for me

So my site I set up yesterday is not working for me, but it is working for everybody else. I tried cleaning my cookies but to no avail. What should I do?

The site is: https://www.questionablemod.000space.com

This is what I get:

Is this your website?

at the moment, because I cannot connect to my ftp as it says the server is down.

well then that is the first problem eh? how is it that you are trying to connecting to your ftp? through IE or thru a bloatware software that loads stuff for you?

Not every software besides IE is bloatware you know :meh:

I am probably wrong, but I tried several and they all were more complicated than it needed to be.

Well, I can connect to the ftp now, but, I asked door who is on the same isp, and he cannot view the site either. I use filezilla.

It could be that your ISP filters traffic to 000space.com. That website (mainly because its a free webhost) is known for such bad things as phissing sites, storage for password stealers, etc.

Try using a proxy to access it. Change your DNS settings too (OpenDNS)

Handy little tool

Nah, it is just that specific 000space site, my other sites with them work.

Did you try changing your DNS server to OpenDNS? It could be that your ISP’s DNS servers haven’t updated yet to reflect your new site.

okay, how do I do that?

https://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/

208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

I always type it from memory.

Wait whats better, google or OpenDNS DNS servers?

OPEN DNS

why would you trust google with every domain request made from your PC?

Because I only have 30ms ping to their servers and 400 to the open dns ones

That offer may be tempting, but it’s still selling your soul. You may live to regret it, when Google Cadie takes over.

Hey, just sayin’. It could happen! :stuck_out_tongue:

Haha, Google gets everyone to be using their DNS servers, then makes every domain link to some Google site.
