I’m stuck with IE right now, literally every other browser suddenly decided to crap on me, I try to open them and they just do nothing, IE is the only one that works, but what I used before was Chrome and Opera rarely. I just don’t really like Firefox that much.
As said i use Chrome, but if I’m doing multimedia stuff and other things I like to use Firefox for its communities wide range of additions.
I use firefox as my main browser, and IE for Pr0nz cuz im sick of clearing my history, and IE is pretty well hidden on my comp.
Ever heard of private browsing?
…
But of course I just use it for my online purchases.
i love how all of these works smoothly on Firefox 4
What browser does one need to have to use the HTML5 player on vimeo.com? Just curious 'cuz the latest Iron (Chrome) doesn’t seem to do it. Haven’t tried the only other browser I have atm (IE6 :trollface
Firefox for the win.
It seems Vimeo uses H.264 (~ mp4) video format. Iron should not be able to play those videos because it does not have the decoder for patent issues, although Chrome has. The decoder for WebM (Google’s video format) is in Chrome dev-channel, which might or (more probably) not be available in Iron, depending on which version or Chromium it is based on. Some (all?) newer videos on Youtube use this format.
Other browsers with H.264 decoder are Safari, IE 9 and IE with Chrome Frame installed, and other browsers with WebM decoders are Firefox 4 and Opera from version 10.6. More on youtube html5 page.
how do i create a poll guys?
Firefox 4 beta. I could switch to chrome but I’m very settled with Firefox at the moment.
Firefox has the best ad blocking, hands down, and that’s enough for me to like it a lot more than Chrome.
I use Opera a good bit as well, but it’s not my main browser.
good job at replying to a necropost made by a bot.
Not a bot, actually
then gloria9mathews is a really stupid spammer.
But all the Firefox users finally loaded and now its mostly them
I prefer the look and speed and ‘feel’ of Chrome, but I use Firefox for the extensions. I get the whole point of switching over to encourage the development of them for Chrome, but the extensions speed up my work too much to get rid of them.
google’s stranglehold on everyone’s internet usage scares me.
google controls the information, and when you control the information…
I use firefox,
and Bing/Yahoo
fuck you google!
^
And btw, Bing steals Google’s search results.

And I don’t use Chrome much, but not because of undue paranoia.
Paranoid people can always use open source chromium based browsers. Also, ff users constantly boast about their precious plugins, which makes me curious as to what specific ones are they so fond of that chrome doesn’t have.
