Web browser poll

Chrome, in my experience is the fastest mainstream web browser out there.

Chrome, for about a year or so now. Gotta love the bookmark sync. Tried IE9 though, and seems pretty nice. be interesting to see what happens to it when it goes out of beta in terms of addons and other customization.

chrome!

But installed I have IE5.5,6,7,8,9 FF, Opera, opera mini and Safari

Firefox definitely.

Firefox FTW. Tried Google Chrome. Couldn’t get into it.

^ chrome may be a solid browser but its still made by a company thats just as evil as microshit. Enjoy your cookies.

Firefox ftw

[Rant]You’re implying companies are evil, which is just plain idiotic. Judge a company by their products, not by made up concepts of what they do to the world. Microsoft has done more for humanity than you ever would in a million lifetimes.[/Rant]

While I’m not much fro Chrome, I won’t claim Google is an evil company. They give a lot of free and useful things to anyone that wants them. Chrome, Google Earth, Picasa, as well as many many other free applications. And lets not forget their extremely useful search engines and web based e-mail. Sure they’ve grown to a large, profitable company. But that doesn’t make them inherently evil.

Google may be evil, but even in that position there’s not much they can do.

Firefox, except for my bank which only works with IE :frowning:

Chrome here.

I just rediscovered chrome themes.

I’ve got Firefox at the moment…and fully up-to-date.

Opera, even with some of its rendering bugs.

Agreed. Been using Firefox since ~2.x. Addons, customizability, security, speed. Only thing I’ve seen faster than FF in Acid3 is Chrome (I read somewhere that a Safari beta got 100). Still, IE is a no-brainer to avoid, maybe when Chrome gets a bit more mature I’ll check it out. On the other hand, while I love most of Google’s stuff, I don’t like their hidden updaters/version checkers/etc, reminds me of Microsoft’s Genuine Notification garbage. Firefox = no hidden processes or scheduled tasks.

Chrome.

It’s not stupid archives, it’s SQLite 3 databases.
99% of all Chrome’s data is saved in either JSON format
which can be edited with any text editor or SQLite 3 databases which you can edit with a tool like this one:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/ (pick version 1.3)

Yeah i’m using Chrome

I use Internet Explorer because it’s here and it’s not slow or anything. Don’t fix what ain’t broke I guess.

Firefox because add ons

if the web devs wouldn’t care about compatibility your internet would look like a big mess.
