We got Black Mesa on Steam!

I dont think so because they wouldn’t have greenlit it, slender is not finished and they didnt greenlight it. If they wanted a finished product they would have waited!

Haha really had to laugh, same here

AND CONGRATULATIONS!

Cant wait to read valves opinion on the mod, if they publish it…

The BM team isn’t remaking Op4 and BS

This ffucking amazing, congrats everyone.

Amazing to hear! Just awesome.

For everyone asking about steam availability, my speculation:

BM will NOT be on steam by friday 9/14. I foresee it available in a month or two and NOT including Xen. Xen will be available in 2013 as a steam update for BM, in addition to other download sources (hosts, torrents, etc.).

Greenlight is an awesome accomplishment, just not useful for the nearly imminent release. Luckily, Friday’s distribution is well planned. :freeman:

Dude, that’s just being pessimistic! I think it will be on Steam maybe the 14th, but if not, the weekend!

Ehm, what I meant was that Xen would likely be finished by the time this whole shit will get sorted out.

Awesome guys! You did it! We voted! They greenlit it!

Depends on the legalities. I’m sure there is necessary paperwork behind the scenes at valve. It should be smooth sailing, but could take time.

This is good news.

Congratulations to the team, you all will now have something you created living on the Steam servers for all time.

And nice effort by the community.

Well done, well done indeed

This is some great stuff to get back home at. Congratulations, looking forward to playing it!

I had no doubt BM would make the list. Congrats to all!

These things, they take time.

I was glad that I could help with the voting. It would be nice to get it on Steam first, or to be able to move our installation to Steam when it gets on without have to redownload everything.

That is way too optimistic, I’m pretty sure there is more then 3 days worth of work to be done to get it on steam.

3 days paper working in Valve Time is what, an I Agree button ?.

Any final thoughts?

I’m sure we’ll get BM on Steam by Christmas. It shouldn’t be too long a wait (hopefully not another seven years, amirightgaiz?).

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
