We got Black Mesa on Steam!

Hey everyone!

Black Mesa officially just got GREENLIT! Thanks so much for all of your support! This has been a wild ride, and this is just as much your victory as ours!

EDIT:
For everyone asking, you guys know about as much as we do. We WILL be releasing on Friday, in some form or another, no matter what.

There’s a lot of talking and figuring out stuff ahead of us before the game actually gets on Steam. We really don’t know exactly how long that will take, so we will all have to wait and see. We’re doing our best, we are as excited about it as you are!

WHAT THE FU… BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM HAHAHAAHAHA

Not a surprise, you mexican american.

So, is going to be released on steam along with other mirrors, or?

Congrats! Can’t wait to play!

Congratz this is going to be huge

This is amazing! I refreshed it, and was like “What happened to the progress bar?” I scrolled to the top and started laughing with joy.

Congratz! But I never had any doubt it would happen, because you’ve such a great and dedicated community! Oh, the irony! First (or one of the first) Game greenlit is BM

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Holy hell! Fuckin’ SCORE. I’ll be waiting for that lovely Black Mesa store page.

Congratz! Finally.
And I knew it!!!
I really knew it! Even the day it would happen!

It had to happen really.

Nice. I like it!

Fuck yeah!

Congrats! Couldn’t wait for this day to come!

Good work everyone!

This pic always makes me laugh, BM is like a race car that shows up out of nowhere during the middle of the race and then proceeds to beat everyone by a whole lap.

Grats.

GOOD WORK!!!

Yay! No more spamming of percentages until it gets accepted…

Now all we will have to put up with is download percentages in two days…

Sweet, sweet victory.

Yeah, I honestly did not doubt they’d make it. Still, congrats!

So lets celebrate this success with some new media!

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
