Watch Dogs

yeah they must’ve seen me fap

shit i wouldnt close my blinds on that i would whip out the fuckin binoculars

they should put you in the game as a random hobo jerking it in the alleyways

I am hoping for a Person of Interest easter egg(Reese/Finch cameo)and knowing that(besides the thematic similarities) Far Cry 3(also game made by Ubisoft) was actually present in season 2 Episode 13 of PoI (some possible show spoilers)this is most likely going to happen.

It really does look like Person of Interest: The Game though, doesn’t it?

I still hope they won’t pull a Rockstar Games and say “Here’s the game, for consoles. PC users will have to wait longer, haha”

Especially since it was supposed to come out at the same time as the other versions and the game was delayed on top of that. And they even said that the PC version is the original version. Though Ubisoft is known for delaying the PC versions of their games, though not for as long as Rockstar.

I thought I should post this.

New release date May 27…hopefully for reelz this time
Story trailer

Some serious visual downgrade since the initial E3 2012 walkthrough…fucking Ubisoft.

Any word on which platform the footage was gleaned from?

Don’t know…hopefully not the PC version.

It was too good to be true, the consoles imply can’t run such graphics and they won’t make the PC versions twice as good looking because “platforms should be even” or some shit like that.

Also, why it was delayed and other stuff (really nice video): https://www.polygon.com/2014/3/6/5477236/watch-dogs-hands-on-video-interview-release-date

The game looks pretty good to me. I’d have to see a similar area to the original trailer to say how much was scaled back, which isn’t going to be possible until the game is out. The lighting and shadowing look pretty good in the cutscenes at least. I think Ubisoft is known for bullshots so it shouldn’t be much of a surprise even if it’s disappointing. I wish they would just be honest though about what they did scale back. This was originally going to be a day one buy for me but I don’t think that’s going to happen anymore. I want to see exactly how the game turned out before I decide to drop money on it. From what they’re saying everything is the same between PC and PS4/Xbone besides resolution and framerate which doesn’t make me all that excited.

And also obviously optimization. I like that they’re not scaling too far back but I don’t know if this means the game is actually demanding because of its features or that it’s poorly optimized and will only run on high end PCs because of this. The last few next gen games I played on my PC ran great so I’m expecting good performance but Ubisoft is always kind of iffy and I’ve heard that AC4 runs pretty poorly.

The way he’s talking, you’d think that graphical quality is equivalent to resolution.

Welp

Okay, what the heck? Did they move it to a new engine and destroy it in the process?

They made up some high quality demo originally and then realized it had to run on consoles too so they tuned it down. I am interested in if this is one of the console versions though. If this is how it looks maxed out on PC that’s really disappointing.

Turning things down for PC is pretty bullshit, if that is indeed the case. If you really have to do that, why not give the PC version a subtitle and try to distinguish it or something?

Most likely this was the same bullshit as that Killzone 2 target-render E3 trailer.

That can’t be right, the car looks worse than shit. Like come on, that’s barely last gen.
