I currently have the non-Splinter Cell version of this.
It’s not bad, but it might be better to wait for the next generation of GPUs to be released before upgrading (AMD’s upcoming cards should hopefully push the prices of the current Nvidia cards down)
Wish I had the money to upgrade. I only got my machine last year, but I don’t remember what my CPU spec is, and wouldn’t mind replacing it (if I had the money).
Any word on it coming to Steam or not yet? No? I guess I should be pre-ordering it on Amazon…
That link doesn’t show me any specs… can anyone tell me whereto find them? I tried poking around the Ubisoft and the Watchdogs websites, but I didn’t see any specs…
Crap, still eight cores for recommended spec. I might have to get a new processor, when I just got this computer. Well, guess we’ll have to wait for release to see how it runs…
I’m not sure if the same will apply to Watch_Dogs, but the Battlefield 4 beta apparently runs (significantly) better on Intel i5 4xxx quad-cores than it does on an AMD FX 8350:
Your i5 4570 should perform almost as well as the 4670k.
Their game wouldn’t sell very well if they put it into Octo-core processors alone (barring consoles). An Intel CPU like that alone is about $4 grand USD on Newegg. The newer (now hidden) specs seem more reasonable.
