I’m wondering… technically… is this incompatibility related to the motherboard itself? or to the BIOS? Is it possible to install a different BIOS on a motherboard?

I’ve done it 4 times, had epic success once (flashed an eMachines mobo with MSI bios) and very epic bios explosion in the face 3 times.
