WAR IN THE MIDDLE-EAST?

:fffuuu: fucking serious business

I see the war amongst religions as ultimately silly and extremely sad.

In the movie “Star Wars”, the bounty hunter Greedo approached Han Solo in Mos Eisley, they had a chat about Han’s debt to Jabba the Hutt. Greedo suggested that he would forget about the debt if he could confiscate Han’s ship. Han refused and…

In one sect, you have those that believe that Greedo shoots first.
In another sect, you have those that believe that Han shoots first.

And they kill each other over it and how they are the ones that deserve the Skywalker Ranch.

It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so deadly serious, but that’s how I view inter-religious wars.

This isn’t going to start a war. Last summer Israel sank a humanitarian aid ship with US congressional delegation (although nobody was killed). I’m more worried about what’s going on with North/South Korea and the S. Korean military ship that got torpedoed.

That’s a relief. WHAT DA FUCK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE![/SIZE]

The pressure is growing for a political settlement, which the Israeli right-wing desperately wants to avoid, and this is most likely a deliberate provocation to derail peace talks as long as possible in order to buy time to capture more land in the occupied territories.

Idiots should be banned from using weapons

This’ll end up with the entire world turning against Israel if they keep this up. Right now they only have one ally: the US, and even the US has condemned these acts (though they’re waiting for the investigation for an official statement). If Israel goes far enough to drop the support of the US, then bam, you just solved 2 major issues in the world today: extremist Muslim terrorism (because 90% of them are pissed at the US because they support Israel… or so they claim) and the Middle-East conflict (by kick Israel’s ass).

Not sure how they do it, but whenever something bad happens in this world, the jews are involved.

that is nonsense. and you should probably make a point to distinguish between Israelis and Jews if you are criticizing Israeli foreign policy and don’t want to sound like an anti-Semite.

But I do want to sound like an anti-Smite, makes people go “gasp” & “shock”

i know racism is in vogue right now but it kind of makes it tough for anyone to respect your opinion

But Han did shoot first!

No, he didn’t, and I’ll fucking kill you if you keep claiming that!

:retard:

:expressionless:

:frowning:

you should know by now that Bolteh says things mainly to induce shock, whether or not it reflects his actual opinion

troll bscly

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t.

Though I think it’s obvious when I’m joking and when I’m serious (that statement was the former).

That Israeli action was plain terrorism, and ultimately illegal. They have no right whatsoever to attack any ship, and be it filled with terrorists armed to the teeth, in international waters. Much less attack any ship that shows a white flag and displays itself as a civilian medical supply transport. Their argument that soldiers had been attacked is utter bullshit. I bet there weren’t even firearms on that vessel. And even so, those civilians on board would never have had any reason to open fire or attack in any other way the Israeli soldiers coming on board, if they hadn’t been attacked frst.

So, finally, Israel reveals itself as what it really is - a state full of terrorists, ruled by a terrorist government. I bet the US will still help those bastards cover their tracks and fake some “proof” for their version of the story. Being best buddies and all…

There’s video, do some research. When the aid mission realized their ship was being hijacked, they rioted with anything they could get their hands on (primarily metal bits of the ship). You can see commandos being punched and kicked by a mob as they are zip-lining onto the deck. There were no firearms on board, but the Israeli military claims guns were taken from their commandos, although this isn’t verified and Israel has ample motive to lie about it. This doesn’t remotely justify 15 people being killed, and it doesn’t mean the aid mission instigated the violence, either, as taking over a boat in international waters is clearly an act of aggression.

A war in the middle east would be nothing more than another bloody page in the history of religion. I don’t want any part of it, I’m not picking any sides either.

In the history of religion? It has very little to do with religion at this point.

The conflict between Israel and Palestine has nothing to do with religion. It has to do with the territorial disputes between the Israelis (who butted in on Palestine back in the 40s) and the Palestinians (who were forced out by the Israelis).

Killing a couple of protesters isn’t going to spark a war. Especially since those protesters attacked the Israeli personnel first.

Moreover, there’s nobody who’s ideologically or politically aligned enough to fight on the side of the Gazans (most of the states around Gaza are either in the pocket of the Americans or so turned off by the idea that they’re not going to invade again, given the last two times were horrifically unsuccessful). That means that you’ll either get a resurgence of the intifada, or, more likely, nothing. Israel didn’t kill any Gazans; they killed a number of protesters who were violently opposing the Israelis when they came onboard to secure the boats. Moreover, they distributed the aid to the Gazans anyway, so its not like the Gazans personally lost anything.

The moral of the story here is not to attack a bunch of well armed IDF commandos. Because they will kill you.

Shit’s gonna hit the fan.
