I knew valve was going to win this one. With how the “best video game character” thing turned out, any valve fan is going to have major incentive to get involved. I was particularly surprised that Bioware managed to beat out Blizzard though. I was sure the WoW fanatics were going to come out in droves. Bioware was actually my first intro into PC games and modding, with Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate 2, so this is really a clash of the titans moment for me.
Just so you know, this may not be the last of the HL series. It will probably be the end of the HL2 story arc, but Valve may be planning on continuing the HL series further.

ok i have been corrected by a friend. the episode trilogy is the breaking down and destruction of the combine. yes the HL seres isnt over after EP.3 just no more episodes.
but i still like the horror idea. so fuckn awesome.
They’d be crazy to stop making Half-Life games. They make a huge amount of money from the franchise.
