Alright, what do you think of when you think “Resident Evil”? No doubt, an attempt at a horror game. Here’s the thing, no one at all expects the game to be scary anymore. It’s a shoothouse, and if you know and understand that, it can be pretty fun. Plus, it’s one of the few games I can play co-op (and have a lot of fun with).
Plus, Mercenaries mode is actually a lot of fun if you get into it. That’s why they’re making a 3DS game specifically built around it.

Ryan: The last Half-Life game was in 2007. It was good, but it doesn’t factor into my decision for a 2011 poll.

Lol mojang is still in. Don’t get me wrong I love minecraft but seriously Mojang the best developer? They’ve made 1 game! Its not even like we know how their long term support is like, the main reason minecraft is updated so much is because it isn’t even finished yet.

Watch as Mojang wins…Sure I love mnecraft but its 1 game, Valve has made several award winning ames, Half Life won like 20 awards, counter-strike, Portal won many game awards, Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2, Half Life 2, Alien Swarm is good and its FREE, Opposing Force, Blue shift. and all Mojang has is Minecaft.

Do you think they’re asking for the greatest company of all time or something? It should be obvious it’s current standings based on the fact that all companies have made big games recently. You don’t see Ion Storm in there.

It doesn’t specify a specific period of time, so it is just as reasonable to assume it is of all time as recent time. I think you misconstrue the dating of the poll as a specification of what time period to base judgement off of.

I don’t think they can include all devs so they likely tried to narrow it down to the ones that stood a chance of winning.

Mojang deserved it. Valve already won such a contest. Such a little indiedeveloper like Mojang just deserve it, to win.
