Voted once again.
Black Mesa is a good mod, but after hearing what developers did during the media blackout I’m not sure if its worth voting.
Not sure why it wouldnt register my vote when I wasnt logged in… but I at least logged in and voted. I urge all other users to be sure to login and click the ‘vote’ button till you get a ‘Voted’ button.

Edit: Hey Catz tell to Mr. Montero to update your moddb page with a news update:
just say something and you’ll get a lot of attention and coverage
@Catz I’ll shut…(maybe)
Ofcourse the mod is awsome, since its worth the 8 years of development.Its worth the 8 years of development.
But the media blackout was just a “fuck the community” in my opinion , even though one of the developers were informing very few people during the media blackout.And when comparing Atomic PC’s leaked pictures (2010 build) to the current build, I can’t really see a huge difference.
There may have been a media blackout (though there was a ton of media already released about the mod) but some of the devs were quite active in responding to questions so I don’t really see how this could be considered “fuck the community”.
If they responded to questions, why was Michael kicked out after release then?
What I meant with media black out is that their (YouTube?), Twitter, Facebook were basicilly dead.The only source of media was Gallery of new files on the Wiki, and the leaked Atomic PC screenshots.
You already have your mind made up Teh so I dont see the point in listing out the details of the production process and whether or not there was EVER a ‘fuck the community’ mentality. Suffice it to say that you are not going to find a whole lot of folks on this forum to agree with you.
But back to the topic… did anyone else have the problem with voting as a guest? I had to login in order to vote but every time I clicked on the vote as a guest it kept throwing the ‘you have to wait 3 minutes’. At first I assumed a conspiracy, but then someone on the team suggested it could have been me and 50 other ‘guests’ attempting to vote at the same time.
Thoughts?
