Video games with worst community

I play it with friends. Great fun if you do.

With age comes experience with experience comes knowledge…

With knowledge comes Insanity. :#)

What

You just haven’t lived long enough to get the experience to have the knowledge of what.

L4D 1 & 2 choose who you play with based on how you do in the game. If you’re good, you get put with good people. If you suck ass, or always take medkits and heal yourself, you get put with such people. (Gabe talks about this in dev commentary for L4D2.)

So technically the community you perceive the game to have is actually a reflection of yourself, and your own inability to cooperate…

TF2.
Furries, in-your-face gamer girls, elitist nerds, and other meme-squirting chumps that are incapable of functioning in society.

From my experience, Halo has one of the best. Mostly consists of bros, douche nemeses, people on drugs, and the occasional 9 year old with a funny voice.

You lose :[

'Fraid not. I happen to own several sunglasses and dress shirts that prove this.

Yet to meet any of those people in their respective games.

You are obviously playing them incorrectly

Someonerandm has obviously never played TF2 or Halo

Apparently I go to the right servers. Haven’t played much Halo though. Never seen anyone not annoying though.

Yeah - L4D 1& 2 is pretty much hit-or-miss. I hate getting stuck with a bunch of ‘ghetto’ players where everyone tries to solo. No, not just one guy rushing ahead, but the whole team doing their own thing; an aforementioned guy rushing ahead, one guy going back and forth through the map trying to find every zombie, one guy doing butt-fuck anything but productive, and I’m left trying to save their asses; pulling them up from ledges, giving them pills and medkits, saving them from incaps, trying to direct them back to the rest of the team, etc. because I’m the only who realizes it’s a god damn team-based game.

Then, if I give some constructive criticism, at least one of them tells me some shit like “if u don liek how i play gtfo fgt” or some kind of ‘tough guy’ verbal threat.

If I’m in a bad enough mood at that point, I just alert the horde, set them on fire, jump off a cliff or other method of self-incap, and let it kill their dysfunctional asses before rage-quitting.

Dick move, I know, but I only have so much patience.

Edit but otherwise, the L4D games and TF2 have some pretty good communities. XBL communities for these games are absolutely horrible, but that’s to be expected.

Tf2 xbox community doesn’t exist.

L4D xbox communiy is girls who stole it from their boyfriends/Robert Pattinson shaped pillows.

I have evidence and self experience to back this up…

So there is a game called Insanity?

I generally get good teams in L4D so the fact that it choose based on my own abilities makes me feel good.

Although one thing I do hate, is say your playing with a team and its moderately struggling. Say you fail a couple of times but it at least improves or you get past it or whatever. And one prick decides its not good enough and starts being an asshole like the Bad Guys describes.

Halo: CE for the PC has an awesome community, lots of good people, and basically no cheating at all. I was worried about an aim-bot a few years ago when I started getting my @ss handed to me all of a sudden (after topping the boards 9 out of 10 times), and started talking to the guy - turns out it was one of the Bungie devs looking for ideas on how to balance the ODST beta multiplayer!!

Halo PC multiplayer requires gamespy, doesn’t it? I bought it like 3 years ago and last I really played was for the sweet obscure nametag plate you get in Reach if you type in the serial number.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
