Not for people, but for the fact that it lacks the ability to create mods or anything of original, despite the great potential. An example of how a videogame company should not treat its customers.
I’d say that the BMS community isn’t really that bad. Unless you’re a dumbass. Or swampfox.

Oh, but classify yourself it’s not a your prerogative. And by the way, age is one of the conditions that allow people to mature. I’d say it’s 50% with the experience of life. I mean… even if you’re very responsible for your age, I don’t think you can compare a 15 years old child to family man or a undergraduate in a foreign city forced to work for pay rent and studies.
However, I don’t belive it’s right to classify the BM like a separate game’s community. It belongs to the large family of HL2.

Agreed, I know some mature younger people, and I’m also 15 (16 in 2 weeks), and I consider myself much more mature than others my age, although I do get mad at stupidity and many other things too often.

As for bad video game communities, I think I’ll mention the forums behind the PSP homebrew game CSPSP. I’m an active member there under the same username, and if you look at their forums you should be able to tell that its not exactly filled with great and interesting posts/members.

I had a bad experience with Gears of War once. Aside from the MP being broken.
A guy on my team and a guy on the other team really went at it between each round. By the time we went back to the lobby, one of them had yelled his address at the other one, basically saying “fuck you, you start shit you better back it up, here’s my address.”
After that, I just lol at the Gears community.

No one ever played SF4 online? KOF?..or nowdays, MVC3 ? there’s a lot of trolling around there
I will say nothing ruins a good L4D game more than some guy coming in and acting like he is Gods gift to Left 4 Dead players, directing everyone and trying to ban people who screw up.
