Seeing as how this just another thread, I don’t see why they would do that where edict isn’t as enforced. But it would probably be a good idea, regardless.
I’ve just noticed that loading the shotgun makes more sound that shooting it, was a bit strange, may only be that the sound quality on the vid was bad for all I know
I just hope that with the new gas mask additions, they are “added” to the models instead of being model replacements with gas masks. This would let mod authors use the FPS on standard grunts if they want to. Also, r_draw_masks would be an awesome command to have
I always though that you 'mericas all carried guns because the statuTe of limitations on murder in the states is only about 10mins for killing anybody and 30mins for killing a cop if the police don’t get to shoot you on sight. At least that’s what GTA series taught me…
Also didn’t know you guys had a statue of limitations (is it called that because you aren’t allowed to got on the statues torch anymore?).
No they have those kind of gas masks with a closeable vent, where you can either, eat, drink from a straw or smoke a cigar from. And how cool would it actually be, seeing a grunt with smoke behind his gas mask, because he just can’t cope with all the shit and needs his prescriptions…
What a difference 360 vertical pixels makes, eh?..
The problem is, there is no main source of information at the moment. The devs are just posting in the middle of everything and the majority of people don’t have time to sift through 37 pages to find the answer to their question.
From his post and the fact that they immediately switched out the track, I’d say he already had something in his arsenal appropriate for this section.
1-3 months is crazy talk and I hope you were being sarcastic. I think they should either be able to scrape together something new within a week or just release the original cut. The fact that they didn’t simply release the original right away leads me to believe that they are at least trying to put something else together. However, I think if they take more than a week to do so, it will be too far from the original leak and not worth it. Maybe that’s just me.
Good one.
Do you think you guys could compile all the questions you have answered into one main post that would be easy for people to find? Everyone keeps asking the same questions over and over because they didn’t know the question had already been answered somewhere deep within the 37 pages of other posts. Just an idea.
Just noticed that the original Valvetime Youtube-video that started this whole thread is online again, though as an unlisted video. I guess everything between ValveTime and the developers is settled then.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
