ValveTime BlackMesa Gameplay footage

Nice footage but I think the voice acting was crap.

Well, in the Episode 2 rocket launch there were no shutters. I don’t even think there was an actual window in that scene, just an opening.

Well to be fair, that rocket was much farther from the window, but it doesn’t make much sense either.

As long as it’s to show off the sexy visuals that light up the night and look beautiful I’m willing to accept the change.

But, that Didn’t Matter,

Because Science Shielded them.

g) the chick…is that young alyx vance?

Could very well have been but i wish they kept the same model… Somethings out of place!

catzeyes93: Would all personnel please proceed to the missile silo for visual awesomeness. Failure to comply will result in disiplinary action.

I prefer the new shotgun model, its sleek and sexy… why must there be complaints ugh

Yeah, the old shotgun always to me looked kinda odd.

The texture especially made it look like it belonged in goldsrc or something

I believe that a control room should always be able to see a rocket launch, its a well thought out improvement to the original, me likes!!

Forget the blast shields, I want to know why the rocket is already out of the silo before the launch started.

My guess is that Gordon did it already?

It was already stated that the previous level has you do a puzzle to raise the rocket.

EDIT:

I think he means way too much of the lighting is painted directly into the diffuse texture. It does look like it was textured for a much older engine.

The current Black Mesa one is the best out of all of them because the holes on the gun aren’t painted on, I don’t know what they’re called, stop judging me.

i like that it looks worn out

AWESOME WORK! what about the gibbing system? wont their bodies blow into shreds and pieces upon exploding??

They are heat shield.

The Fong is spot on.

Yea, I always thought the shotgun looked downright ugly. It was way too flat for a SPAS-12.

Oh, ok.

I thought the shotgun looked kinda cool when it was flat oh well the new one has nicer textures.
