Valve promises '3 big surprises' are coming

HL2: Episode 3
Left 4 Dead 3
Team Fortress 3

:retard: THREEEEE surprises.

Half Life 2 Episode Three, Manchester United nil.
And now for Team Fortress 3. Liverpool 4.

Okay I’ll stop this now.

I know where they got Portal from, but where did they copy L4D from?

choose one of the several zombie games that came out before L4D

Just because a similar game came out before hand, doesn’t mean Valve copied them.

I think that’s mainly because of ipod, everyone and their mother has an ipod, but there are still more pc users out there than mac users.

well wathever the surprises are, I just hope to see Episode 3 on them…

I rely every day more and more on the theory, that Valve cancelled the Episode idea (like they said 2 or 3 years ago, that it wasn’t such a good idea) and that they started to work on a “real” Half Life to surprise everyone. And they don’t want to show something, because it’s such a huge project and it’s not that far in the development and it’d take “all” the attention from Portal 2.

Eh, would be cool.

Sounds good until you remember Gabe plays World Of Warcraft, so not happening :frowning:

I remember seeing a picture of that. I lost a some respect for the man :frowning:
Also, wasn’t he playing it on a 32" LCD tv?

Lol, I don’t get it :hmph:

Why shouldn’t it happen, if he plays a role play game?

They hired some guys who were working on the project.

Turtle Rock Studios announced Left 4 Dead on November 20, 2006, and was acquired by Valve Corporation on January 10, 2008, because of the game and long-standing relationship between the companies.

Because, it’s time-consuming.

Well, that’s why Valve has got almost 300 employees, where some of them could work on it…

nah, the 300 guys working on Valve created a game exclusive to them called 300 spartvalvens where they kill Combine with crowbars of the size of a spear. They are 95% of the time they expend on Valve playing it, then 4% of the time playing WoW and the other 1% working on ep3.

And who is working on Portal 2? :stuck_out_tongue:

no one its already finished ;f

Besides the fact, that not even 30 people work on Portal 2;
12 work on TF2 updates;
also around 10 work on L4D updates;
And around 10 people work on Steam;
And, I guess, also not even 30 work on the DOTA game;

sums : 82 :o

Almost 300 employees, maybe 290.

290-82 = 208 employees. God damnit what the hell are “they” doing :fffuuu:

Making the most massively spectacular Half Life 3 you could ever imagine.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
