'cus that’s too easy and will more than likely not be mentioned at E3
obviulsy they’re gonna announce “the timer” and it will consist on making a bet of when a valve game will come out and the one who gets closer wins the game.
I say hl3 year: 3002.
Portal 3 year: 2020.
L4D3 year: Nevah.
Counter-strike:GO 2 year: 2501
of course all of these are in valve time, they will come out even more later than that.
EDIT I made a game with java script. The computer will automatically choose a number between 1 and 1000 wich will say how many years must pass before ep3 get’s released. The objective is that you type a number between 1 and 1000 and see if you type that number!
Warnings: Do not click cancel, it will fuck up the game/ allow scripts to be used or the game won’t show up in internet explorer (Note: this won’t happen if you use firefox or Google chrome)
(You may need a dropbox account to access to the game)
They might be announcing that Half Life 3 is in production while not actually giving details or a release date.
There’s no way they’d still be putting so much work into TF2 if they were seriously planning TF3. Besides, that would be stupid; if you can name ONE new class that would work in a new game that is fundamentally different from the classes already in place while still being balanced and fair, I’ll eat a shoe.
Ok that thing was a complete fake. I edited my post. Fucking websites with their headlines about fake shit just to gain clicks
Didn’t Gabe reply to an Email stating " I don’t have anything for you now or at E3" :’(
This article popped up over the weekend:
Valve to announce new title at E3 with the numbr “3” in it
Time to sit back and keep waiting…
^That’s old and probably fake/and or a joke. The alleged new email from Gabe may or may not be a fake as well. There doesn’t seem to be any real evidence against it, aside from “Gabe doesn’t usually say Half-Life 3, must be fake because it goes against my hopes and dreams derp.” But we’ll see if anyone else from the company replies.
That shit is completely fake. I posted it earlier but it’s not real.
Just wait for e3 and see what happens
What if they release some new spin off to the Half-Life series?
I wouldn’t take it well. IMO, the last spinoff wasn’t that good.
HL has spin-offs?
I don’t know if it really counts as a spinoff, but it is loosely related.
and you didn’t like portal?
It’s in the same universe but, so far, they’re not similar enough for Portal to be considered an official spin-off of HL.
Also, just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean it’s bad.
Are BS and OF considered spin-offs? Or just (non)canonical expansions?
Those are expansion packs that happen to run in parallel to the HL1 plot.
A spin-off is when you take a familiar element from a property’s universe and make a new property based around it that does its own thing.
Basically, like spin-offs of TV shows, where they take a character from a popular show and make a new show around that character with new stories that are independent from the show of origin.
Portal does not do any of that and OF/BS are simply retellings of the HL1 plot but from the point of view of different characters.
He didn’t say anything about Episode 3 :3 .
