Valve at E3 2012

My theory?
Valve will announce Half-Life: Episode 1
THE PREQUELS ARE COMING, RUNFORYOURLIFE

Valve has referred to it as Half Life 3 before. It’ll be HL3.

When have they ever called it that?

It’s still possible that they will release it on the current Source Engine, they will just update it completely.

Uhm so what did Valve announce?
I’ve only found the releasedate for CS: GO. Is that it or is there anything else?

They’ve also announced the price of it.

Likely on new consoles

What was their suprise then?

Huh? What surprise? They didn’t make any surprises.

damn… I wasnt going to buy a new console whenever it comes out but i guess if HL3 will be on it i will have to :fffuuu:

Ooh, that’s a new one.

I never doubted it would be on the source engine.

That sentence was meant for Dotard.

I know HL3 uses Source, just a heavily modified one.

Hopefully. We will see.

Sooo uh yeah… apparently L4D prequel will be next… Guess Valve counts backwards before it counts to 3

Now that E3 2012 has ended, let the speculation about 2013 and ValvE begin!

Apparently it’s just an expansion pack for Payday.

Every new valve game uses a modified version of its modular engine.

So what? As long as all 300 devs of Valve don’t work on it, it’s ok. And it’s in cooperation with the Payday devs, maybe it won’t even be a triple A title, just like CS GO.

I’m fucking sick and tired of these goddamn unfunny names about putting the games of Valve into one. They were never funny for me. I call the next Half Life and the possible S.O.B game as next for Valve.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
