I need a USB extension cable for a keyboard. Are USB extension cables like HDMI cables, where they’re all practically the same? Or are some brands better than others?
I only need 8-10 feet, and don’t need a good transfer speed since I would just use it with a keyboard. How does this one look? Is Nippon Labs a good company for cables? This one seems to be a good bang for my buck. Any help would be much appreciated.
As long as your cables are USB 2 compatible you’re good. Nothing wrong with that one in particular, but you can get extension cables of the same length (or longer) for much cheaper.
Yeah generally, usb are fine on long distances with keyboards (not over stepping it obviously) use the site rabid provided.
