anyone notice the update for source games hl2 and episodes hl source dota 2 and tf2 and hl2 lost coast also what is in this update
Not really sure. Haven’t been able to get a changelist. It was pretty small though- like 5MB max for each one.
There have been quite a few very small updates to HL2 and the episodes. Never know what they’re for, so I just forget about it.
What do you bet that those micro updates are secretly HL3 assets? What if we’ve been preloading HL3 for years without even realizing it?

Honestly, the little crazy bit of my mind was telling me that. It’s not, but I secretly hoped so 
I think modders would notice that long before the process was done unless Valve did something very tricky.
But that would be awesome. But uh, yeah, what is with the updates? Last one I got was apparently 0 bytes for most of the games. :\
Where were you when countless other updates of this kind were released before?
they were hacked when the servers were down and there is malware injected in the updates now… nah, just kidding, I think it’s just some small patching, nothing more.
