Fuck yes.
I will make a living by selling a good UT map every once in a while.
Seriously though, this is god damn epic.
The mod marketplace is a pretty interesting idea. I’m curious how it’ll turn out.
So as cool as it is to have fans help develop the game, the real incentive is for them to mod for the marketplace isn’t it? Are there incentives for the most talented fans to submit their best ideas to the core game rather than hold them back for later? I mean, I’m sure some would do it for the love of the game and their desire to be a part of that, but I would imagine some of them would think, “work for free now, or work for money later?”.
Also, if TF2 is any indication, the mod marketplace will thrive. You can make a killing on cosmetics alone.
i think the gaming renaissance has begun
It’s like a dream
well, almost (I still want a new singleplayer/coop Unreal but this’ll do)
The original Unreal/UT composers posted on the forums, and steven polge responded
Fucking amazing
I absolutely loved Unreal’s soundtrack. This is fantastic news.
Pretty hyped about this, this is a brilliant idea in my opinion.
Stop posting with that text color, please. It messes up with the moderators’ job.
that was quick
I noticed some community members were able to mess around with the movement prototype, is this avaliable to everyone or just those with a UE4 subscription?
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
