As far as PS3’s go in Australia.

None have baclwards compatability.

I don’t think they’ve ever made a PS3 that’s baclwards compatible.

No, they did. It was primarily the first 60 gig one. When the 80 gig came out, certain PS2 games ran on limited emulations. After that, they removed BC all together. 60 gig PS3s on Ebay now run pretty high because of that.

I think the last BC PS3 they put out was in the MGS4 bundle, and even that had the limited BC. They all play PS1 titles, by the way.

I think I heard, though, that Sony was looking into something that would allow them to emulate the Emotion Engine. I might get one if they do that.

Forgive my typo, I just worked from 7pm to 4am and have just gotten home.

Way to miss the point, champ.

Well balls.

Remember, remember the 5th of november. Some nice fire works this year = ]

What’s important about today?

Watch V for Vendetta. It’s way more awesome than a history lesson.

Ohhh, Guy Fawks Night.

Aye.

I wish we did that here. Technically, we’re every much as British as South Africa.

Burning effigies of Guy Fawks and setting off fireworks is such an awesome holiday.

Do you guys get off from work and shit?

Nah, we just set fire to shit and blow off our hands after work.

So it’s like the 4th of July, except for the working part.

I take it back, it sounds sucky.

We also burn effigies sometimes. Tell me that doesn’t sound fun.

Although, sometimes hedgehogs get all burned up when they sneak into the bonfires before they’re lit, which is sad because hedgehogs are awesome.

:frowning:

As I said, burning effigies is awesome.

But the holiday gets a bad score for mistakingly burning hedgehogs.

I don’t get the pop-culture Guy Fawkes obsession, and I don’t get Guy Fawkes Day being a holiday either. Are brits celebrating Guy Fawkes failure to explode things, or are they celebrating the spirit of his attempt to explode things?

There isn’t a pop-culture obsession with him. And we burn effigies of him. What does that tell you?

They burn effigies of him, what do you want?

EDIT: Fuck off, Soup.
