I thought I would bring this mod to peoples attention as its a quite niffty little mod. Its status on moddb is TBD but its downloadable…

It has three parts to the game:

The house, my favourite part as its pure psychological horror.

Dreamland, think max payne dreams but less frustrating.

The chapters, Typical FPS with bullet time. Some interesting moments and its quite long for a prologue.

[COLOR=‘YellowGreen’]Underhell is an SMOD based Half Life 2 Modification that will be distributed in Episodic releases.
So far ONLY the prologue has being released…
It requires Half Life 2 and Source SDK Base 2006 to run

How the fuck do you get inside? The pussy says he doesn´t want to get in there so he doesn´t let me. Also how do I get in the hole on the ceiling in the bathroom and where do I find MOAR batteries? I’ve already used up the ones in the bedroom.

What set Amnesia apart from FEAR and those types of games was that it was the only game that had me sitting behind a wall with my heart pounding so hard I thought it was the roof falling down.

Its a randomized scene that happens can’t force it to happen.

You don’t get in the hole there is nothing there.

Batteries are in draws, the shed the basement. Once your out of them though thats it…

I’ve seen some scary things in gaming history, but Amnesia is far the best in the horror genre. Tell me, how did you feel when your first met with the “brazen bull” ?
I came closer to freak out than ever before.

Amnesia: The dark descent is indeed by far the best horrorgame. I screamed like a schoolgirl in the cellar area. I was to scared to play it and i started playing again 2 months later.I rushed through everything and was very glad that was over with.

but seriously, that game is the biggest mindfuck ever made.

Doesn’t matter. Your experience will be different. When my friend came to my house he noticed nothing happened in the attic. Apparently he shat brix when he entered the attic so don’t worry you won’t be prepared :retard:

Normally, the scariness is in all “surprise” moments, but just reading that description of the thing made me so creeped out, I just decided to leave quickly, and thus missed the plot macguffin in the room. Of course, I then had to sneak through the big red room AGAIN to find it.

Anyway, I finished the shooting storyline and I’m now in the house trying to A. Find the remote, B. Find fuel for the furnace downstairs, C. Get in the bathroom (CAN’T KEEP HOLDING IT IN), D. Unlock the door at the end of the Dream Hallway.
