Half Life 2 EP2 - Gnome and Chopper Sequence
Very nice Catz - it’s good to see your enthusiasm for HL hasn’t worn off!
You’re better at playing HL2 then me and you’re a g-g- girl!
I’m pissed that i can’t run Episode 2 and keep it running that beautifully.
updated post to one url.
Very good when that chopper keep shoting my gnome off and it missing!!! i just so piss off, after that i use “impulse 101” to(think happen next yourself)
What?
Fix’d.
As much as we make fun of him, it’s not really that hard to understand him.
For the record, you can also punt the gnome, let the chopper shoot, while it’s recharging get out, punt the gnome further, get back in, and repeat until you make it to the rebel “base.”
When I did this, I spent ages putting the gnome in the car, after a while it got stuck, and only the G-gun could get it out with a punt.
Made the achvmnt almost too easy.
Realistic, more like.
How hard is it to tie it down on the car?
It was pure luck.
I spent like 15 minutes placing it in the car, I accidently hit E one time and got in, so did Alyx and it was at her feet, stuck.
I haven’t been able to do it again, but I have tried.
The most logical way to get the gnome past this area is to punt drive punt drive punt drive. The problem is that it takes forever and it is very painful but it is the way everyone does it.
That is the reason I put this together. To offer a better way.
COLLISON: did you at least get a pic?
Your way is the easiest but you can do the drive-punt pretty fast with accurate timing and a couple other tricks. Here’s my video:
Nah, it was my first ever play of ep2, but I remember it was stuck exactly where alyx’s left foot sits.
