Trying to save an old DVD

I have an old Blues Clues dvd that is scratched pretty bad and has issues when I try to play it. I want to try to save and reburn it to a new dvd so that my 5 year old can continue to enjoy it, but I am unsure of what I am doing. I need an expert please?

Here are the programs I have:

DVD Shrink 3.2
Magic ISO
DVD Decripter

Right now it appears the DVD Shrink 3.2 is saving it or backing it up to disk. Does anyone know the next steps I would do? Obviously I know to put a DVD disc in the DVD Burner, but from there I am unsure of what program I should use or if I have the wrong ones and need something different. Yes I am a noob at this so please save the laughter.

kthnx!

Hmm, what I normally use to grab a movie off of it’s original disk is by using either a Converter program or something like PowerISO (MagicISO will work as well).

I use Total Video Converter, so I don’t know how to show that method to you.

Normally I would expect that it can be done easily through Magic ISO itself.

If I try to rip a DVD I use leawo dvd to ipod converter, the lip syncing can be dodgy, but would your children really notice?

Yes. Most likely. I noticed bad lip-syncing in Thomas the Tank Engine. :FFFUUU:

in b4 toothpaste

That actually works though, my MW1 disc got healed like that.

It does work. I used toothpaste and liquid soap to fix my PS1 games when they were scratched.

A;though it does depend on the type of toothpaste.

Download and burn to DVD. Easiest method. You already have the DVD so it’s not illegal.

WINNER!

except blues clues episodes are quite hard to find in decent quality, and some kids enjoy the dvd menus which are not included in warez releases.

I now have a directory with bup, ifo, and vob files for my blues clues. Am I right to understand it is the Magic ISO program that will put all these files back together again on a DVD? (I would try it rather than ask, however I dont have the DVD’s yet. I just wanna make sure I understand what I WILL be doing once I have the dvds)

Oh, I don’t know…

cept I dont do torrents.

IF you have bup, ifo and vob, when you will put it on a new dvd, it will “change” them in the real files.

Am I just doing a copy paste onto the dvd then or do I need a program to do it?

Again, sorry for my newb questions.

Kid shows on DVD are cheap as dirt, I’d just toss it and buy the box set.

Also, the only good episodes of Blues Clues are the original '90s ones with Steve. Whoever says otherwise is a troll.

^The truth, this man speaks it. I still like watching the show whenever I catch it on TV, but if Joe is there, I just walk away.

Damn that man. This sweater is stupid.

well, okay

IT’s simple, you use magiciso, you create a .iso of your disc. Then, you take a blank dvd and you burn the .iso on the dvd. The end xD

THANK you joker!
