Tribute to the Half Life Beta (ie: Space Bikers and freaky looking security guards)

Yes, the beard. Hair isn’t just a stiff block.

Nor do mid-length scruffy beards wave freely in the wind.

I’m pretty sure you can set varying degrees of jiggleness when you implement jigglebones. Also it depends on how fine the hairs of his beard are. Some guys have wispier beards than others.

“wispy” is not how I would describe Dr. Ivan here.

True, but it doesn’t exactly flop around like a pair of testicles when you walk either.

I would settle for just seeing Ivan’s body in the vast darkness of Xen. Maybe sitting by some vital ammo just before the Nihilanth fight, along with health.

If you knew your idea was stupid, then why did you post it if not to troll?
Not that it’s stupid per se, but it doesn’t fit with what the devs are doing with this mod.

I knew SOMEONE was going to find it stupid, but I know better than to try and post an explanation for being stupid on the internet! :retard:

I shall treasure this knowledge forever

you and many others.

I lol’d, hard.
Probably more than I should have.

I was against the idea of including beta-inspired eastereggs, but now I think about it…

IF a Gordon model does not appear in deathmatch, use a space biker?

How about, making it a special “secret” character that only appear to you use in multiplayer when you complete all the achievements in the game?

EDIT: I’m talking about Ivan, not Gordon.

No, because he was a default character in the original.

I was talking about Ivan.

And ram was talking about Gordon…

But xilef (the one that Ram was talking to) was talking about Ivan.

inb4move

lolwat? Why would someone move it now?

It’s not even a suggestion.

EDIT: Never mind.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
