Translator?

When playing some Japanese game on my pc, I usually get these “éaé±é¦é+üEé¡éªé+é¦üIæ¦î¦ö+” instead of Japanese word.

Is there any program that can fix that?

There’s several things you can do.

Either:

  • Don’t play Japanese games on the PC, they’re shit.
  • Play proper games made by proper developers (which is impossible, considering it’s Japanese)
  • Don’t pirate.
  • Hope that you’re just missing a Japanese font-set, because if that’s not the case, there won’t be any tool that edits the basecode of that game to fix corrupt text.
  • Hack the game and edit it yourself.

In the Windows setup, you usually have some optional components like asian fonts.

There is several way you can try to help.

  1. Tell the proper way.
  2. Don’t post anything if you doesn’t have better way than that.

To Samapico, for some reason. I can’t switch from ENG to CH.

Change the ‘language for non-unicode programs’ in ‘regional and language options’ -> ‘advanced’ (on XP)

To be fair, of the 5 points I made, 3 were serious and not down to personal (bad) taste.

Not really helping yourself there.

And I count two. Pirating is opinion based and unhelpful, regardless of whether you (or I) agree with it. Not to mention that Japanese games are often not available any other way.

Fong, you should look for a translation of the game into a language you know, as those usually work regardless of regional options.

Otherwise, you should go with the regional idea. If you need some more region options, I think that updates can contain it, or just get a download from the microsoft website or something. (Assuming you use Windows.)

What OS are you using?

install weeaboo windows on virtualbox

That wasn’t a “piracy am badz” point, that was a “pirated games oftee come with flaws and lacking content”, so it counts as a valid point.

Yeah so he should get scammed by some random japaneses website that claims to sell the game but they send you the pirated version on CD-R.

Basically.

I play Japanese games and there is no problem with the font, thank goodness.

…Are either of you even able to read Hiragana ? :bulb:

This is Fong we’re talking about here, I imagine he’s at least somewhat familiar.
(He he, “Tranlator”)

A little bit.

Then you didn’t state it clearly enough. The phrase “Don’t pirate” adheres alot better to something like “piracy am badz”. Either you’re trying to hide your mini-troll, or german colloquy is fucking up your english brah.

Something like, “Pirated games are always buggy” Would probably make more sense.

Edit: And it’s pretty obvious you were trolling, considering the other “Obvious troll is obvious” points.

It is a free demo that is downloadable, and installer not CD. :retard:

To johnyo, where?

Control panel obvsly

Even better… In Regional and Language Options, in the Langues tab, check ‘Install files for East Asian languages’ and ‘Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages’
