Thursday(?) BM game night(tf2)

[COLOR=‘Red’]PASSWORD WILL BE: gordanf

So, in the chat we thought of doing a tf2 game on a passworded server this week (and hopefully making a habit of the game night) for some of the BM community.
This topic is for discussing this

Edit: As of now, Saturday has been chosen(see page 2 for more info).
Thursday seemed to best day as most people couldn’t go on the day that was first proposed(Friday). If there are no objections, then Thursday it will be.

I’ve already found someone who can host the server(up to 24 players, but I doubt that many will come).

Edit: 8 PM GMT seems to be good for most people, if there are no complaints I’ll use this.
Also we still need to specify time, I was going to say 8 PM GMT but I really have no idea in which time zones the people live who are further from GMT. And I have the idea 8 PM GMT would come out as a ridiculous time for them.

If you wish to come, please say so in this thread so that I can have an at least a little accurate number of how many people who will come.

I have class 6-10GMT but I’ll show up when I can.

up for this

I’ll try to be there, though I might not be there if something pops up.

Also might I suggest we run our own servers.

I go climbing on Thursdays so that doesn’t work for me. I’ll play if I’m around though (not very often these days admittedly)

I’m in Thrusdays, and always in chat/TF. I’m in
.

I’d be interested in showing up, but I don’t really know my time zones

What country/city do you live in?

Damn, that’s noon PST. Otherwise I would be there. Maybe we should consider a secondary game time for those of us in the States?

Possible, but I wouldn’t be able to organize it. The guy who has the server I’m using for this is Dutch anyway.

I’m down for thursday… would be 9pm GMT+1 for me.

we were doing basically this with the jarhedz server anyway.
except that it has a better community.

College 9-5, work after that till god knows when, then college work when i get home = NO FREE TIME

= (

weekend would be better

How about we make two or three “Unofficial Official Black Mesa Community Server”. One in Europe, The US, and one in Australia. We could donate to keep them running, but since they aren’t actually going to be part of BM it wouldn’t count as if we were donating to the mod. I would donate.

theres prob not enough people around for that to be a worthwhile endeavour

Are you sure…?

Because the fact that the forums broke down to the large influx of people seems to be telling me otherwise. And even then we could grow our community by being, nice, helfpul, fun- OH HAHAHAHAHA OH MAN I CAN’T SAY THAT WITH A STRAIGHT FACE

^this

Yes, nobody under 18 does things on the weekends.

Based off of the last BM match I played, I would probably want to play, but would lag out anyway.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
