Things you DON'T want to see in BM.

I hope it’s a completely better looking, more elaborate environment, in terms of aesthetics.

Isn’t that the point of this mod?

That’s the point I was making =P

^ I don’t want to see this guy in Black Mesa: Deathmatch.

For what reason, exactly?

He’s a dicksponge.

Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

Would you act that mature if you were talking to the president?

I totally love you, dude.
And don’t worry, I rarely play DM.

My country doesn’t have a president.

:hmph:

If we can just take a moment to pretend Scout doesn’t exist:

I think Blue Shift did pretty well with Xen. It was more exploration and less jumping puzzles.

And it was much like a maze IIRC. I hope the dev team makes it that awesome, but with better graphics.

The jumping puzzles drove me bonkers. Absolute bonkers. It was the very first place I chose to willingly turn on the cheats in order to no clip and get the flip out of there.

Wow, I don’t know why people didn’t like the jumping puzzles so much. I thought they were pretty fun, and they weren’t hard at all, you just have to learn how to control a first person character. Now, the mazes from blue shift, on the other hand, fucking most annoying thing ever, could not stand those! :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s not that they weren’t fun, it’s that they were dramatically overused. Practically all of Xen was one big jumping puzzle, with a little combat around the edges.

maybe that is what the problem was. I am more of a combat lover, so when xen came along with nothing but jumping puzzles I got bored quick.

Same here. :[

Oh, I see, ya I gues they could have been a little less present, but they weren’t really dificult. Also, I like mazzes, but not like the ones in blue shift, they turned back on themselves too much!

Another delay.

Edit: I’m wishing for too much aren’t I :expressionless:

I liked the jumping puzzles, too, they weren’t too difficult. I think it’s more interesting if there are a few more puzzles in Xen than only fighting against houndeyes or vortigaunts in Blue Shift, because in Half-Life i found Xen very boring cause there wasn’t something different to do than fighting. I think puzzles are very important.
