Things you DON'T want to see in BM.

Nope, first I burn him then I eat the remains.

That would be cool trick though, wish I could do that.

Trust me, you were talking about me.

oh :ninja:

so, anyways. how bout that topic? how’s he been doing lately?

Ah poor guy, he was in a train and he got derailed, he will never walk again.

Wait, wrong thread…

What i don’t want to see in Black Mesa : a wide-eyed HL2 citizen rebel responding to every spoken piece of dialogue with short unwitty commentary. i can imagine it’d be a character like crabz butting his way into every open moment between events, chiming in with impeccable timing, providing irrelevant information, unwanted opinions and absolutely no insight on the situation at hand. Just like real life!

And your HUD would show a little “Post Count” ticker too that pops up and advances every time the little bastard shows up.

“amirite?” DiNG!

New alarm sounds. Seriously, the old ones are a big part of the experience for me, I hope they don’t change them. Mainly the Anomalous Materials alarm and the Fire-Doors.

Very true. It’s just a classic sound, I hope they replicate it… or maybe it’s in the Source files, just like the HEV sounds.

Some are, others aren’t.

I don’t want any NPC telling me to reload. I hated the citizens so much for that (other than for their annoying faces, annoying voices and annoying dialogue). I managed to get through the game without someone saying “Reload, Dr Freeman” every 2 seconds.

What does that even mean?

He obviously means that the sounds were changed. Am I correct in assuming it’s the same type of siren, but with better quality sound?

About seven.

I don’t want to see blinds during Inbound.

Blinds are overrated. Curtains are where it’s at.

Turn BM into a David Lynch movie and put curtains everywhere.

LD models.
:retard:

I guess the one used in the trailer was just for the sake of nostalgia?

I remember that on repeat playing, “On a Rail” got a little long. Sort of like the jet boat sequencenin part 2. Cool the first time. Ok the second. After that it’s sort of tedious.

Still, playing it in he new engine would be worth it  .

Why? :’(

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
