They’re using the HL2 Vort, i thought? I’m pretty sure it’s an edited version of the Vortigaunt seen in “point insertion,” the one sweeping the floor.

Green things? You mean the shackles? Those are the same as found in the Ep2 folder. They (Valve) updated both the regular HL2 Vortigaunt and the Vortigaunt Slave for Ep2, even though Ep2 doesn’t feature the slave model it is in the folders.

And the BMS team are using that one.

I’m pretty sure they’re significantly greener/glossier than the Ep2 model.

Maybe, even so, it’s still the same model as in HL2 so whoever said they don’t want to see it in BMS are still going to be disappointed.

Nah, I think it looks nicer, so I don’t think they’ll be disappointed. I’m speaking from my own experience too; I absolutely hated the vort model in hl2+ but the one in the mag looked amazing.

It’s the Ep2 vort with shackles from the SDK, it’s been stated multiple times.

Also, I really like the new skins, looks awesome! What I don’t whant to see though, is visible laser sights from the snipers, although, if I’m not mistaken, I will end up dissapoint. :frowning:

If they bother you that much, you’ll probably be able to make the lasers invisible by editing the textures

Not necessarily. The Combine sniper rifle lasers are made with textures. I seem to remember Ram saying that the ones in Black Mesa were made with them as well, although I could be wrong.

Sniper rifles will not have lasers.
