Things you DON'T want to see in BM.

Aren’t you 13?

I thought he’s 12

Books are better than sex, because you can read a book and then beat someone over the head with it, which makes getting sex a lot easier. There are few people whom having sex with makes it easier to get a book. Those that do make it easier to get a book don’t do so by bashing it over the head, so overall it’s less satisfying.

On topic: I don’t want to see people having sex with books in Black Mesa.

Non-book sex? You pervert!

Yes. Why? I’ve never claimed otherwise.

Sooooo… you talking about sex is a little premature, wouldn’t you say?

TOPIC

I don’t want to see Topics in BM either.

I DONT WANT TO SEE CAPITAL LETTERS IN BM.

I’ve had more sex than you.

[COLOR=‘Black’]Which is funny considering I’ve had none.

Playing with yourself doesn’t count :expressionless:

And I don’t want to see rainbows in BMS.

Lolipop has been fucked -1 times if you read the hidden text.

“- Every GoldSource game had the same stock sound effects for PC movement. Footstep sounds were terrible in the original Half-Life and thanks to the popularity of CounterStrike, i came to HATE the sound of boots on gravel. No matter what surface Gordon’s boots touch, it either crumbles beneath the weight of his feet ( CRUNCH crunch CRUNCH crunch ) or -oddly enough- squeaks and creeks. Either the tiles of Black Mesa’s floors are affixed to their foundation with springs or their maintenance staff needs to switch to a thicker floor wax. A quick sprint across the hall always sounds like a college basketball game. if Gordon’s feet are going to squeak that much, i want to turn around to see some black sole marks! Thank God this is the Source Engine.”

Okay you’re stupid.
Gordon has metal boots, of course they will squeak or clamp.
However that will differ. When he steps on tile or metal you’ll hear hard clamps. On the dirt or sand or grass, softer clamps.

Other than that, I think the squeaks you’re hearing are from when Gordon steps on a cockroach.
If you have that much of a problem, then crouch for the rest of the game dumb ****. Or mute your volume.

Also the thing with “Having fun Gordon?”
Screw you. No one cares about your dis likes.
Mute the volume when you get to that hateful part.

Uhm, you can quote. Below every post there’s 3 buttons, unless it’s your own, then it has an edit button too. One of them is a quote button. If you press on it it automaticly quotes the post for you. It saves you alot of work on rewriting every post  You can also edit the quote for lulz/easier to answer etc.

The crowbar animations in the trailer and the spinning reload Glock animation. The crowbar animations look too robotic to me and the spinning reload just seems unnecessary.

NO U

first off… pls don’t kick me for this post…

because Half-Life has shitty graphics and a very small community… HLDM has not many players left… No new players… It’s just too old for new players to start playing the game.
Half-Life 1 was perfect in Multiplayer… So please don’t change too many things… It’s just getting old.

…and I still don’t understand why you want to make a completely different Half-Life 1… I really don’t like how you want to change the whole gameplay…
I mean… Your dev team isn’t like the big money-hungry dev-studios who just have to make games, that suck in gameplay but rock in graphics… New games have to suck in gameplay, because if gameplay was good, nobody would buy the next game, hoping for better gameplay.
They do not care about competition either. HLDM had/ still has some competition… But when BMDM comes out I hope there will be MUCH MORE competition, than HL1 still has… and in real HL1 style…
Unlike it was with HL:S… HL:S changed some things that made the whole game stink. So… why don’t take HL1DM’s nice gameplay and combine it with nice Source graphics? It will ROCK! …and nothing will go wrong… It will be Half-Life how Valve wanted it to be… Like you wrote in your description…

Example:
Half-Life 1 was WITHOUT sprint function… and it was nice… so… why implement it?

HL2 is a different game than HL1 and it’s good that it’s a different game, because it was not a bit similar to HL1. I think HL2 was the biggest gaming disappointment ever…
Please try to make BM close to the original… HL1 was a great game… It’s too old rly… There aren’t many teams that bring Half-Life 1 to next-gen graphics… So I really pray for BM to become a good recreation… I hope it won’t fail like HL2 did.

I loved Half-Life 2 and so did many of us, I dont’ see why you don’t like it.

Because in HL1, you were always on sprint.

Feels good man.

HL2 was ok in Singleplayer… But Multiplayer was a big fail.
Compare HL1 with HL2 besides of graphics… Then you will see that HL1 was more balanced, more thought out and had way more content (maps & weapons)… In SP mode you also have more NPC types… More kinds of enemies.

I’ve seen this video lately…
—> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2jvXTzDzdc
and it really shocked me. I know… graphics and layout of the map look nice (ok it’s alpha… but anyway…) But when i compare all the gameplay elements of the old and your new crossfire… I think your map will suck in gameplay… because of these points:

-pit is WAY too big. you will be able to make too many spawnkills easily, because if somebody spawns in pit you will just rape him with gauss… the map is so big that your opponent won’t have any chance to escape from you.
-buildings are too big also…
-windows are too small (will be hard to jump in)
-MP5 balcony is too small
-you won’t be able to jump from MP5 balcony to Gauss balcony, unless you have Longjump module or Gauss.
-no elevator in 357/satchels room (middle house)
-hole in wall… so that you can come from Magnum dead end and directly walk into the satchels/357 room (middle house)
… see what i mean? you changed the gameplay completely? wtf omg why?
… and i did not even see all areas of the map.

Ok… I will make my own crossfire remake… I think graphical quality won’t be as good as yours… and my map won’t be played at all, just because it’s a custom map and won’t be in the release version of BMS. But ok. I will make it like it was in HLDM and not like it was from another game.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
