So I can confirm that, texture updates aside, this makes the System Shock 2 process a lot smoother and cleaner. No more jarring shifts in resolution, codec shenanigans, or anything like that. Drop the shock folder on your desktop, install the new patch, and enjoy.

I’ve been playing it as well and it’s amazing on Win 7 64-bit. Plays perfectly at 2560x1600 along with the SHTUP and Rebirth mods.

I need to get my hands on a copy of SS2 again.

I had it working on Win7 64 a while back, but changing my keybinds broke the gameplay (couldn’t “use” anything!) and I gave up trying to fix it. This patch should help. Once I “obtain” another copy, that is.

Always wanted a copy of SS2, prices on the internet for old copies are more than new games this gen, ridiculous.
